Location: Senapati Bapat Marg: Mumbai

We are seeking an experienced HR Director with outstanding people skills to undertake major ramping up of resources and ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives.

Duties for the HR Director include supervising HR colleagues, dealing with employee grievances and disputes, supporting employee development, enhancing job satisfaction, designing onboarding procedures, implementing HR strategies that support business objectives, forecasting staffing needs, mitigating risk, structuring benefit packages, maintaining employee records, managing budgets, designing accountability mechanisms, and overseeing overall employment needs.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess great work ethic, excellent communication skills, be well versed with the laws of the land, best HR practices, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. The HR Director would improve upon the existing HR policies & processes, implement strategies that support business growth, improve morale and employee retention, enhance safety and wellness, strengthen relations between staff and employers, manage job satisfaction, attract the best recruits, and promote the organization's values.

Salary : upto 60+10 lakhs variable

Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic guidance and leadership to all India HR functions, including HRBP, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Training and Development and HRIT.
  • Developing and implementing Human Resources policies
  • Leading the Talent Acquisition team in achieving hiring goals and in building a world class Talent Acquisition team
  • Supporting strategic objectives and working collaboratively with leaders in the various business lines to achieve shared goals
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • Hiring staff and negotiating employment agreements
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
  • Establishing a strong rewards and recognition program
  • Managing staff wellness and performance reviews
  • Motivating and supporting current staff
  • Ensuring maintenance of staff records and the best usage of technology to automate/ reduce manual intervention for data management
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
  • Managing employee benefits
  • Identifying staffing needs and helping deliver an outstanding recruiting and onboarding experience
  • Supervising and directing Training and Development to deliver outstanding interpersonal skills training programs


Requirements:

  • 15 – 25 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure in a Financial Services firm
  • Management degree from one of the top business schools
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Strong people skills
  • Knowledge of labour laws and regulations
