Many fire services are having to battle gorse fires during the last week or so.
Firefighters use specific equipment and hoses to fight gorse fires and they are always looking for new equipment, technologies and resources which will make their job that much easier.
HPMP Fire, based in Tullow, Co. Carlow have teamed up with Gollmer & Hummel GMBH to provide one of the most resistant lay flat hoses on the market. These hoses are designed for use in tough conditions.
Hoses come in a range of sizes from 25mm to 89mm. They are lightweight, very flexible and the jacket lining is constructed to provide optimum protection against abrasion. These are the ideal hoses to fight gorse fires in the current climate.
