HPCL Issues EPC Tender For 11 MW Solar Projects, NTPC Renewable Energy Invites Bids for 300 MW Solar PV Project in Gujarat, And Much More...

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has announced the auction results for its 1200 MW ISTS-Connected Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Projects (Tranche-VI).The other winners include ReNew , Vikram Solar , Shakti Private Limited, Hero Solar Energy Private Limited, and Acme cleantech solutions pvt. Ltd. Solutions Private Limited with tariffs of ?4.69/kWh, ?4.72/kWh, and ?4.73/kWh, respectively. However, Acme Cleantech Solutions Private Limited was awarded only 380 MW out of the 1080 MW they had bid for under bucket filling.

India’s Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has issued new regulations aimed at ensuring grid security by limiting frequency fluctuations within the operating band. The regulator has set the rate of charges for deviation during a given time block to be determined by the higher of two weighted averages.?The rate will not exceed ?12/ kWh until further notice.

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited Ltd, which is a subsidiary of India’s state-run power company NTPC, has announced a tender for a 300 MW solar PV project at Khavda RE Power Park in #Gujarat. The project is open to bidders who will be responsible for the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, and commissioning of the #solarplant, including the supply of PV modules.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has introduced a new framework for green deposits, aimed at promoting green finance in the country. The framework will be effective from June 1, 2023, and will apply to all scheduled commercial banks and deposit-taking non-banking finance companies, including housing finance companies. The RBI’s green deposit framework aims to encourage regulated entities to offer green deposits to their customers, augment the flow of credit to green activities and projects, and address greenwashing concerns.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has floated an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) tender for the erection of 11 MW of #solarpower projects for captive use at its Panipat and Jhansi sites, in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, respectively.The projects will be built in 2 phases, with 5 MW constructed in Karari Village in Jhansi under Schedule 1 of the tender and the remaining 6 MW project will be built in Baholi Village in Panipat under Schedule 2.
