ABOUT THE COMPANY

Born in 2016, parent brand Love Cocoa Ltd comprises of two brands - Love Cocoa | B Corp and H!P Chocolate | B Corp . They have recently completed their multi-million pound Series A investment round and are ready to scale both brands.

Love Cocoa was set up to create moments of happiness through luxury sustainable chocolate that respects people and the planet. They're stocked in major department stores such as John Lewis & Partners , export to over 10 countries and supply many independent stores throughout the U.K as well as having a DTC arm.

They are set to open first retail store in 2023.

H!P Chocolate | B Corp is the next generation of chocolate: delicious, creamy chocolate, all without the dairy. With a lower carbon footprint, they are the fastest-growing vegan chocolate with listings in Sainsbury's , Ocado Retail , Booths , WHSmith , Getir and Gopuff .

The company use business as a force for good by putting people and the planet up there with profit, having planted over 1m trees in the last two years and are B Lab UK pending.

THE ROLE

As Key Account Manager (Grocery) you will be managing and growing sales within Sainsbury's , WHSmith and Holland & Barrett and working closely with the team to secure new opportunities. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting periodic review meetings with the customer (bi-weekly, monthly or quarterly)
  • Responsible for JBP creation, agreement and tracking
  • Sharing insight from customers to agree strategic plans moving forwards
  • Developing account plans
  • Agreeing cost/price strategies with the business
  • Forecasting and reviews
  • Promotion planning, including Christmas, Easter etc
  • Agreeing, tracking and launching NPD

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience as a NAM/JNAM with a Top 4 Grocer
  • Demonstrable negotiation experience
  • Strong ability to build and maintain successful relationships with key partners
  • In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Hands on experience building and managing a P&L
  • Experience building successful JBP’s
  • Availability to travel as needed to visit retail partners

OFFICE LOCATION

The office is a 5-minute walk from Holloway Road, Drayton Park, and Arsenal, as well as 10-minutes from Highbury & Islington Station.
