Hoxton Movies – Launch of the 60th BFI London Film Festival

On Hoxton Movies this week Niki, Matt and Morten are reunited to bring you news about Woody Allen’s latest Cafe Society starring Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively. We also discuss new Brit flick Brotherhood written, directed by and starring Noel Clarke. Niki reviews the adult animated feature Sausage Party and Pedro Almodovar’s latest Julieta. Morten is back to give us the low down on all screenings and events at our partner cinema Genesis.

It was the programme launch of the 60th BFI London Film Festival this morning so Matt gives the lowdown on the line-up plus shares an exclusive clip of director Ben Wheatley discussing his closing night film
Free Fire.

In honour of the late, great Gene Wilder our soundtrack of the week are songs from some of his most famous films including The Producers, Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles.
