Business Intelligence 3.0 (BI 3.0) is a term that refers to new tools and software for business intelligence that enable contextual discovery and more collaborative decision-making. Why is it better than its predecessors? BI 3.0 creates real-time reports on any number of processes instead of monthly, weekly, or daily reports.?
We all agree that BI 3.0 is a core component in the continuous effort to improve business, and, of course, this cannot be done without considering users' preferences. Thus, if your clients want to succeed, you must make user experience research with BI 3.0.
How to do this? There are 4 things to keep in mind:
1. User research is the first step
Find out what your clients expect from a BI tool and what they desire and what features would attract new clients. Using surveys, focus groups, user testing, and interviews can help you here.?
2. Flexibility in design
Since different firms require different applications of the BI tool, and design the UX with adaptability in mind, some people may benefit from a more simplified version of the tool. In contrast, power users may benefit from a more advanced one.
3. Reflect the reality
Never lie to your clients and give them the real picture of what to expect. Thus, you will avoid a problem when expectations don't meet reality and your clients are unsatisfied with the outcome. In addition, the sales personnel should give honest responses to questions and be prepared to explain things.

4. Training that is tailored to the needs of the client
You must understand that it is impossible to build a training program that fits all clients. Study the needs of each client before and only after that build programs to fulfill their specific objectives. More importantly, prepare FAQs and "how-to" materials, making it easier for clients to deal with common problems.
Now, the one and most important reason you must pay attention to improving your users' experience is that the more you can help your clients create with your products, the more reliant they will become.
Do you agree with the last statement? Does your company use those tips that I mentioned before? And are there any pieces of advice you can share in the comments? I would be delighted to read it.
