What I have learned over the last 12 years owning a digital marketing company that was growing by millions of dollars in annual revenue EVERY YEAR:
New businesses are started daily. Very few of these businesses will ever make it. Fewer than 5% will ever reach $1 million in annual sales. Why?
Here are my thoughts:
People are focused on driving more and more people (traffic) to their business websites. Google and Facebook are among the most profitable companies on the planet, they are the only ones that win big as more and more customers join the advertising trend! People are thinking they “Have” to spend money on these venues. My question to you, why are you throwing thousands of dollars in advertising to these companies when your site is converting at around 1%? Yes, that is correct, 1%. If you get 5000 visitors to your website only around 50 leave contact information through a contact form. That means that 4950 people are on your website and you never hear from them! Now let’s say you spend $5000 with Google and Facebook and drive another 3000 people to the site, sounds like a good idea! Only to find out the hard way that is is not! The conversion rates are even going farther down. Yes, on paid search, conversion goes down! Even below 1%. Paid traffic converts less than organic. So, my big question is WHY? Why throw good money down the drain? The problem is not your traffic. More is not always better. The problem is your website! When I started fusionZONE with my wife 12 years ago, I was in the retail car business and saw a serious problem that I just described above. I decided to do something about it and built our dealerships website from the ground up and took conversion rates from 1% or to over 7%! I stopped driving more traffic to the site and worried about converting the traffic that I already had. Guess what? It worked. 2. Website access to make changes to enhance your conversion. We will get your approval before making any changes. We will also teach you what to look for, so after the case study you can continue to improve your website and continually increase conversion rates.
3. We will publish your before and after data. We will establish a baseline in regard to website traffic and conversion rates. We will also then show the same data at the end of month 1-2 and 3. Then we ask you for a video interview about how these changes have affected your business in terms of lead flow and sales.

4 年Could not agree more - What if you could not only increase conversion rates but actually identify an anonymous website visitor in real time?? In addition, what if we could create a DTC? (Direct To Consumer) model that would allow an anonymous consumer to interact with multiple dealers at the same time.? At their discretion, they could in fact disclose their contact info to the dealer of their choice.? In fact, a fair play ground for both the dealer and more importantly the consumer.?
