Howl At The Moon

The last full moon of 2019 just occurred on December 12 at 12:12 a.m.

I got so busy making this three layered pendant that I totally forgot to take any progress pictures of it.

The top and bottom layers are made of argentium silver with a wolf standing on a rocky point and an eagle soaring above pierced into the top layer while the bottom layer was given a rough texture. Both of these layers were then given a patina with slightly different techniques to achieve the different colours.

The middle layer is of pierced copper, a forest and full moon with texture and patina finish as well.

A desiccated leaf was used to roll print the leaf on the backside. It was then fused to the roll printed back. A patina wash was applied and then some of it was removed to allow the colourful detail to remain. The final step of the pendant was to rivet it all together.

Measuring 1 3/8" long x 1 3/16" wide.

A sterling silver necklace chain can be added for $25.00 in lengths of 16" to 30", your choice.
