Howden, as a protagonist of equality and growing presence of women in engineering, celebrates an “International Women in Engineering day”.

Howden Spain was very pleased to invite a group of female students from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena accompanied by the Director of Equality Department of the university. During the visit in Howden′s facilities the guests could observe a day to day life in an international engineering company and the whole manufacturing process in the factory. Constructive meetings with the management raised many interesting questions. These future engineers had also an opportunity to have a long chat with the female engineers working in the company, listen their stories, learn some useful tips and share their worries and concerns. It has been a very educative meeting for both sides and it will definitely become one of our annual events. We thank UPCT for their collaboration. Together we gave the beginnig of a great and enriching tradition.
