HOW?A?PROFILE?IMAGE?CAN?LEAD?TO?GREATER?GENDER?EQUALITY.?

International Women's Day is a day known for celebration. But it is also a great time to reflect on the work still yet to be done in order for us to reach greater gender equality and diversity in the world. To reflect on what we, individually, can do to move the needle forward - faster. So for International Women's Day this year we wanted to do something that would have a long-lasting impact. That would show our dedication to impacting and improving the lives of women and young girls not just today but everyday.

That's why we're thrilled to announce that we will be adopting a gift-it-forward model our all our products moving forward at The Next Billion. Starting with our Profile[me] service. From today day, when you book or gift a woman in your life with a Profile[me] shoot, you will not only be empowering yourself and her to show up and be seen. You will also be empowering the next generation of young girls to show up at school and see all that they can be. Giving them a fighting opportunity at a brighter future.

How? For every shoot you book or gift someone, we commit to gift back a set amount to organisations on a mission to provide young girls with access to education. And we are proud to shared that the first organisation we’ve chosen to support is She For She Pads. She For She Pads is a non-for-profit organisation that believes that something as natural as menstruations shouldn’t keep girls away from school. And yet more than 80 million girls are trapped in a poverty cycle, due to the mere fact that their menstruations are prohibiting them from attending school. For $25 donated, one girl will receive reusable pads, enough to keep her in school for two years.

Throughout the Month of March we hope to engage 100 women to #SHOWUP4CHANGE so that 100 young girls can show up and stay in school through She For She Pads program. Help us reach this goal by the end of March by booking or gifting a Profile[me] shoot to someone dear to you at www.profilemeshoots.com. Or by sharing our page forward to a friend.
