How Your "street Name" will make all the difference

Subject: With Love from downtown Los Angeles to "where the streets have no name!"

The earphones are on, I am near the seaside and suddenly I get a compulsion to listen to a specific song that I have not listened to for a while.

I flip to my search on YouTube and type in the words “Where the streets have no name” and quickly and readily I line up the official music video shot way back in 1987 on the rooftop of a liquor store on the corner of 7th and Maine street in downtown Los Angeles.

At first, I am not sure why this song popped up in my head, but as soon as the opening guitar riff begins, I am taken to an amazing place “where the streets have no name” and a feeling of warmth and bliss comes over me and I now know why the name popped into my head. It was inspiration on what to write about here. 

You see “where the streets have no name” to me means going to a place where there are no limitations, where everything is possible, where you can reach new heights and live your dreams.

When you give your “streets” a name its like putting a label on it and you may find that other people tend to want to give “street names” according to what their beliefs and perspectives are. When you accept these street names you have just restricted and limited yourself from the vast number of possibilities that are available to you.

Some of the more popular street names are “not good enough street”, “not pretty enough street”, “not smart enough street”, “not enough time street”, “not enough money street”, “unlucky street”, “don’t deserve it street” and one of the all-time favorites “not my fault street”.

None of these street names elevate you to feel good about yourself, they keep you at a level that will never allow you to go to place that “where the streets have no name”.

To me these lyrics are nothing short of inspirational:  

“I wanna tear down the walls that hold me inside

I wanna reach out and touch the flame

Where the streets have no name”

What walls have you built that are holding you inside, not letting you be the version of you that you truly want to be.

How long have you held back for that longing to reach out and touch the flame of your burning desires, the desires that would take you to new heights new experiences, and new places of unlimited potential and possibilities, to a place where you have no labels restricting you, a place “where the streets have no name”.

The lyrics go on to say:

I wanna feel sunlight on my face

I see that dust cloud disappear without a trace

I wanna take shelter from the poison rain

Where the streets have no name

When you go to this place, you will feel a sensation like the warmth of the sunlight on your face, everything else disappears, you no longer are seeing yourself with a “street names” or seeing others with “street names”. Those names (limiting beliefs) are the “poison rain” from which now you are sheltered, because you have gone to a place “where the streets have no name”

The question that remains, is how do you go to that place “where the streets have no name”?

How do you take yourself to this blissful place of unlimited possibilities?
