With the talk of NFTs out there, is it possible to turn podcasts into one?

You may be thinking “why would I turn my podcast into an overinflated pixelated chimp?”

Let’s say you’d be interested in having an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) if there’s?utility?behind it; a purpose that is more than artwork.

That is when the NFTs have valuations based on the access, perks, and opportunities they provide to token holders.

This concept can seem foreign to many, however, it’s already showing how brands are giving their community an experience like no other.

In this case, NFT utility for a podcast could be private access to the creator, tickets to a live event or part of an exclusive club.

Yes, the buyer may be purchasing an image (or any other digital file), but at least there’s some sort of benefit to owning it.

If the plan is to create an NFT project for the sake of it because it’s the hip thing to do, or it can make you a ton of money, then you may want to change your intention.

Having an NFT project for your podcast can benefit your brand in the long run, help you stand out, and as a by-product,?can?become a lucrative revenue stream. Though for it to successfully work, it really comes down to these two questions:

a)?Utility:?what will a token owner benefit from owning this NFT that is valuable to them?

b)?Community:?how can they contribute to they feel part of something bigger than themselves?
