In the context of Mergers and Acquisitions (although what I'm about to share with you has a much broader application), I am using this opportunity to introduce an automated independent App that comes with a referral of the SAP, Office of the CTO (SAP Corporate, Germany).?Our App has been used by SAP Customers to analyze over 1,900 SAP systems, each one only taking 1 day; it has repeatedly proven its ability to detect internal enterprise anomalies for resolution as part of SAP continuous quality initiatives, as well as being used prior, during, and after M&A activities to ensure organizations are able to keep post M&A costs regarding SAP system optimization to a minimum, and to adequately prepare and demonstrate Due Diligence regarding Material Misstatement to Auditors during the Annual External Audit.

Why is this important??On December 15th, 2021, the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB)?revised the ISA-315 Standard regarding software code, Material Misstatement, and the revised scope of Auditors, in other words, all public and private sector organizations that go through External Audits are required to have Auditors review all code (including SAP) for Material Misstatement.?In North America, the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts amended their SAS-145 to meet the same objectives as the IAASB.?Here is a link to a short 3-page article I posted on LinkedIn that captures all of the salient points regarding Material Misstatement and the Risk of Fraud:

M&A activity is complex and it is easy for important details to be missed when going through the process. ?I propose that there are three areas where our App would provide tremendous initial and ongoing value in M&A settings:

3.???Defining the roadmap and cost associated with correcting/optimizing and aligning the two SAP systems to create a significant reduction on TCO, including Licenses and Professional Services, Support, Maintenance, etc.
