How was your life chapter 2018 ?

Soon a new chapter in the book of life will begin and it is time to reflect on the blessings and learning from 2018.

 The picture states " I am unique" and " I am so tired of normal" ..but what is unique and what is normal ? Upon reflecting on that question, I have come to the conclusion that if your brain works in a way that it is visionary, courageous and innovative - then you are not following the norm, and maybe constantly coming up with ideas or statements that the world around you are not ready to receive. This is not always easy and often not well received. Most likely because it is a " normal" reaction to be afraid of, or uncomfortable with the unknown or "not tested" environment. However if your brain and personality works like this do not despair.

We need unique for society to develop.

People like Hans Christian Andersen, Bill Gates, Michelangelo and Steve jobs were certainly not in the " normal" category.

 If you spent many hours on SoMe and constantly find yourself comparing yourself to others to be " perfect" - then maybe you are within the normal space of today's time and age. If you find yourself complaining about your job, your leader, your salary, your living situation, the traffic on the road, the politicians and the weather – Or if you find yourself content with your life and your productivity, then you may also be within the normal spectrum. But don’t despair either - because diversity increases productivity and positivism and a mixed bag always brings out different flavors. So we need all kinds.

 I think 2018, despite more personal challenges that I cared for, was a good year and I found the following quotes and reflections to be my guiding light in my 2018 life chapter.

- Hereby happy to share.

 -     Enjoy the present - tomorrow may be different than you assume

 -     Spend more personal time with people you love and care for, than on SoMe

 -     Remember that people will not recall what you said or did - but always remember how you made them feel

 -     Trust in your intuition - if you can still feel it

 -     Do prioritize to spend time in nature - it does increase positivism, energy levels and intuition

 -     Be grateful for what you have and stop complaining or worrying about what you do not have :-)

 With that, I hope you had a wonderful 2018 and I wish you Happy Holidays and all the best wishes for the new year 2019
