How you know you've got this

I’ve always felt like September is the real beginning of the year. Maybe it’s the back-to-school energy. Maybe it’s the crisp air and sweater weather. There’s something about this time of year that screams transition.??
If you're in the midst of some big changes (like me!), take a few moments to remind yourself that you've got this.?You've made it through everything that's happened in your life so far and you're still here. You've got your back. And if you're in need of a hug or word of affirmation, give it to yourself, ask someone, or email me! I've got you!
Another thing to remember is that resistance just makes things harder. I know from years of practice that when I brace for the worst, when I try to avoid the things I don't want, everything feels so much harder and heavier. Learning to surrender to the flow of life might sound difficult, but it's actually the simplest path to success.
I've been thinking a lot lately about Michael Singer's words in The Surrender Experiment:
“My formula for success was very simple: Do whatever is put in front of you with all your heart and soul without regard for personal results. Do the work as though it were given to you by the universe itself — because it was.”
That's the flow I'm in, and while it's one heck of a ride, it's so much more fun than when I was focused on self-aggrandizement or proving my worth. It's my choice. What choice are you going to make?

Before I finish, I want to share a few invitations to our upcoming offerings.?
There are still a few spaces open for the Connect retreat coming up on September 14-15. (This weekend!)
We will be digging into conscious communication — sharing powerful frameworks and ways of connecting with others, resolving conflicts, and communicating with conviction and clarity. The retreat will take place at Julian A Giacomelli 's beautiful property in the Eastern Township of Montreal. You can stay for the night and enjoy some beautiful time in the forest, or simply come for the day, for connection with other leaders and profound learning through workshops, play and exploration.
We also have a couple of spaces open for new members in our Thrive entrepreneur peer group.
We will be re-launching toward the end of the month, and meet monthly for 3-hour deep dives into support and conscious leadership in our businesses.?
Please help us spread the word to the wonderful people in your lives! Shine+ is very much a word-of-mouth community and I love meeting and sharing our learning with more people.
