How Are You Getting Your Brand Name Out To Potential Customers?

How many times do you pick up a to-go order or take something home from a restaurant and the bag, container, and/or cup has no logo? This is a missed opportunity to get your brand name out there. Many restaurants like Cane's, Chick-fil-A, and Starbucks have their logo on all the items that a customer can take out of their location. Some companies think this is costly however if you buy a large quantity it is well worth the investment. Also, imagine if they meet a friend and they still have a logo cup in their car or house. Maybe the friend will ask questions and decide to visit the restaurant for a meal.

Rarely do you go to a retail store and buy something and the bag or box has no name or logo. On your next hotel visit take a look around the room at all the amenities that have the hotel's logo on it. How about when Amazon delivers a package, do you see their logo on the box and/or plastic bag?

If you want your customers to remember how great the food was and/or how great the service was put your logo on items that are going home.

  • Cups
  • To-Go Containers
  • Receipt
  • Business Cards
  • Brochures
  • Gift Cards & Holders

When you give great customer experiences why not showcase your brand? Many restaurants have started to sell retail items with their logo. What a great way to keep your restaurant top of mind and add revenue.

In my last week's article, I discussed suggestive selling. Imagine if your team suggested retail items or gift cards to their customers. This could be a great source for adding revenue plus it builds a rapport.

There are so many opportunities Debbie Hart, and sadly so wasted. As you say, if you get clever you don't have to pay a fortune. Indeed, some of them are even free!
