How Are You Feeling?

Putting Positive Mental Health in the Workplace on the Agenda

I work in a busy office in Dublin and my colleagues are fantastic, full of energy, life and fun. However, in a hectic working day it is so easy to get on with your job and not really notice what is going on around you. Although a work mate may seem well on the surface – has anyone really noticed that tell-tale sign that may indicate something is going on? How often have we had a fleeting thought that maybe this person is not too well but put it to the back of our mind and got on with the rest of the day? It may be awkward to reach out and ask, “How are you feeling?” but what if it was just the one question they needed to hear?

Before stepping into the world of recruitment, I was a professional singer / songwriter and have continued to stay involved in music as much as my spare time allows! I recently wrote and recorded a song that promotes awareness around mental health issues. My song “How Are You Feeling?” is now available to by on iTunes and other on-line music stores. 50% of the proceeds from the sale will go to Aware. Please click here to listen and download!

Aware is a national organisation providing support, education and information services for those impacted by depression, bipolar disorder and other mood related conditions. Founded in 1985 the organisation developed in response to the clear need for information, understanding and support, both for individuals with a diagnosis of depression or bipolar disorder as well as family members supporting a loved one. For more information, please visit

Please buy the song to help raise money to enable this amazing charity to continue with the great work they are doing across the country! Alternatively, please donate directly to Aware

We have an app that helps people and leaders in the workplace share their feelings - specifically, mood, energy, motivation - with others, and take action! In beta - would love to chat. M
