How you do anything ...

We've heard it a million times:

"How you do anything, is how you do everything."

But what does that really mean?

Every little thing we do, down to the little minute details, add up over the course of a month, year, decade ... our lifetime - in a BIG way.

When you go to the store, do you put your cart away, or just leave it in the parking lot or up on a curb?

Better yet - if someone ELSE leaves their cart out, do you take the time and responsibility to go put their cart away for them, or is your ego too big to do that?

If you open the door to your car and trash flies out, do you take the time to run it down and throw it away - or just let it blow off in the wind?

And again better yet - when you're walking across a parking lot and see trash that isn't yours, do you let it be someone else's responsibility or do you stop and pick it up on your walk?

I whole heartedly believe the more responsibility we take on as our own in doing the little things right - even when it comes to correcting the laziness of others, the more we are rewarded spiritually and materially.

Be it God, the Universe - whatever belief system you have, I truly feel that at all times we're being watched (we all know Big Brother is - but that's a story for another time) and blessed for taking the actions and doing the things that others won't.

How you do anything, is how you do everything - even when it comes down to putting your cart away.
