I wrote this article a few weeks back and posted it on a company blog. After having a conversation with the manager of an employment company a few days ago, I was blown away by an admission he made to me so I thought this was relevent to add as another reason why a business could be missing the right candidate for a job.
Time Constraints
You see he was telling me that they get so many applicants for some of their clients jobs (300 to 500) that due to time constraints, if it's a relatively unskilled job, they simply pick 10 random CV's, interview them, pick one and delete the rest. I was quite surprised by that admission!
