How you can stand out as a thought-leader in your industry

How you can stand out as a thought-leader in your industry

Standing out as a thought leader doesn't start when you have a successful podcast, a book, or a TED Talk.

It starts right here, right now, expressing yourself and helping your ideal clients have 'ah-ha' moments.

Let me explain.

?

Too many talented, driven, and intuitive coaches see the outward expression of success as the end game (like that book that you keep meaning to start writing!??).

Although assets like books and talks can be excellent authority vehicles to showcase your talents, they are not themselves the pathway to expertise.

You see, you are already a walking, talking expert, and you can leverage your immense talents through the marketing channels you are currently using so your prospective clients are drawn to your words and want to work with you.

I teach several vital ways to help you articulate your unique brilliance and attract premium clients with my RAD3 Messaging System. However, right now I want to zero in on a little-known area that is too often skipped altogether, as most brand or messaging specialists don't realize its immense thought-leadership power.

?

This area is your OPINIONS, and I will show you how to leverage them effectively.

Not just any opinions but the ones affecting your clients, your industry, and the pathway to the outcomes your perfect-match clients want most.

Opinions that demonstrate your method, process, or framework are the solution that your clients need and that they are otherwise misdirected into avenues that suck at their time, money, and energy (many of them may have already experienced this!).

These opinions become the backbone of what you are known for and create a powerful 'thought-leader energy' that resonates with your audience, drawing them to you and your unique approach.

?

So, let's get into examples here.

My client, a talented Growth Specialist, uses data analysis to optimize her clients' pipelines and offers. We worked together to devise her critical industry opinions and link them to her exact scaling method.

?

Key opinions:

1) 'Fire and forget' (testing something and never analyzing what happened and why) is one of the industry's most enormous leaky buckets. You can triple your income simply by focussing on your data and optimizing your marketing and offers (and this is precisely what her method does).

2) Many industry experts talk about 'scaling,' or growing your business, but not everyone is ready—so many fail, feel deflated, and want to give up. Instead, you need to use your existing data to determine when you'll be ready and what to put in place now so you can fast-track your pathway to scaling successfully (and this is precisely what her method does...).

You get the idea.?

?

The first is a common mistake, and the second is an example of a misleading idea that others in the industry may be following to their detriment. Both of them flow into the solution my client has for folks at these stages of growth (and, therefore, she creates sales).

Since our work together, this client has filled her group program with clients paying $10-20k and continues to build an engaged following of over 80k.

So we know that having and expressing thought-leader opinions is vital to becoming known for your expertise. It's not just about writing a book or giving a TED Talk, it's about making your mark in your industry and being seen as an authority.

However, I've found that many women like us (talented, driven, intuitive) are also prone to overthinking, which leads to frustration. At the same time, they know they are not available for months of procrastination and potential revenue plateaus.

That's why they work with me to fast-track the identification and expression of their powerful and profitable opinions, which includes my full review of their signature offer (curriculum and promise) and the development or iteration of their unique, proven framework so they can express their expertise and authority in a way that cuts through the online chatter and calls to their premium clients (I do this specific opinion work in my longer-term engagements of 3 or 6 months and also get the ball rolling in my 4-week intensive.)

If you regularly create content and speak to other people's audiences (guest expert/podcast interviews/summits), elevating your position to industry leadership is your opportunity to shine and deliver more of your transformational work.

?

I'm accepting new clients right now, and you can email me jo@iamjoingram if you're interested in working together.

I also create and edit content elements for you as part of my?longer-term services.?More details?here.
