How You Can Sell Your Services for $3,000, $5000, $25000, Or More - Even If You Haven't Done it Before Or Don't Know What to Sell
I put in this island photo because islands are cool. And you can work from one if you do this right. I guess that works?

How You Can Sell Your Services for $3,000, $5000, $25000, Or More - Even If You Haven't Done it Before Or Don't Know What to Sell

Cha-ching.

You just checked your account - and there's an extra $4000 in there.

You just got paid to coach your next client for the next 2 months.

You earned almost your average American's monthly salary after just a 30 minute phone call.

And not just that - but with 4 coaching calls a month with an average hour each, plus text access to you, you're only spending 5-6 hours a month for 2 months. That's roughly $300/hour.

No alt text provided for this image

A text from one of my clients - coaching is easy and doesn't take a lot of time when done right.

And if you switch to group coaching instead, even that time will be significantly reduced per client.

How would it feel to have finally done that?

Maybe that's a lot of money to you, maybe it isn't.

Whether is it or not, that feeling of getting your first high ticket sale is eye opening, perhaps euphoric.

You know an entire world of opportunities just opened up for you.

The feeling of "damn, I can do this shit."

Does this sound like a pipe dream?

It doesn't need to be.

You may or may not know me yet, but I promise you this is the reality of both myself and my clients.

And the reality is this - none of us are truly special.

Sure we're skilled at what we do, and we've learned how to sell our skills to people online.

But what we do can be done by anyone with some determination.

I specialize in helping people make more money from their followings - and I've made clients millions doing it.

I see a client with a few thousand engaged followers with a valuable skill, and I KNOW we can get him sales worth $3000 MINIMUM.

After all, guys using my List Money Multiplier System are consistently closing deals of $3000 or more.

You say "It sounds good," but you may think to yourself...

"But there's no way I can do that bruh."

Or maybe "I've got some skills but I'd shit myself if I ever charged that much money."

So you ask yourself - how can YOU do it?

That's what we'll answer in this article.

This article is for you if:

  • You're unsure what skills YOU can sell for $3000 (or much more) online.
  • You have valuable skills, but you're unsure HOW you can sell them online.
  • You need to learn a new skill worth paying for (a High Income Skill).
  • You're selling online now, either to your following or some other way (eBooks, courses, consulting calls, coaching, anything), but significantly below $5000 and want to know how to charge more.

What Skills You Can Sell?

Here's the cool thing - to make these kinds of sales, you can sell literally anything that you're good at and helps people solve a problem.

The more painful the problem, the better.

I call the problems I aim to solve $100,000 problems, because people will literally spend $100,000 (and often a LOT more) to solve these problems over their lifetimes.

What are examples of $100,000 problems?

  • Being in terrible shape
  • Can't get dates/sex
  • Poor relationships/social skills
  • Not making enough money
  • Need investment help
  • Paying too much in taxes
  • Poor overall health, or specific health issues such as diseases, infertility, etc (just be careful about your claims)
  • Business needs help growing (can easily be lead generation, ads, general business structure...etc)
  • And a LOT more

Between the amount of money they pay, the opportunity cost, and the effects on their lives of not solving the problem...

People will often pay over $100,000 to solve these problems throughout their lifetime.

These are the problems we want to solve.

Now, you may have heard of the "Big 3" Niches.

If you haven't, they are health, wealth, and relationships.

If your skillset falls somewhere under these niches, you can solve $100,000 problems.

For example:

  • If you're in great shape and can help others do the same, you can be an online fitness coach. People pay thousands of dollars for fitness training ALL THE TIME online.
  • If you have a money related skill (what I and others call a high income skill), you can help businesses make more money and take a piece of that. How many business pay for email marketers, copywriters, etc? A ton. (Businesses pay me 5 figures all the time to help them scale - and I've only had this skillset for about 4 years. It's totally self-taught - and I was able to get new clients just a few months after learning the basics of copywriting.)
  • You can help people get better with the opposite sex. Maybe you help men who can't get laid, or women who can't find a long term mate. Whatever it is, people will pay for it.

All of these are $100,000 problems, and people will gladly pay a piece of that for you to help them solve them.

I'll mention there are people that sell "how to play the guitar" type of coaching programs and specifically target high end buyers and make an amazing living, but that isn't something we're going to talk about in this article.

Anyway, this is the criteria for what types of skills you can sell. Now let's talk about...

How to Pick a Skill YOU Can Sell Online

The #1 question I get from guys new to this are "what skill should I sell?"

Naturally it varies entirely from person to person.

But fortunately there's a simple process to figure this out.

Make a list while you ask yourself:

  • What skills do I have right now that I'm good at?
  • Of those, what skills do I enjoy teaching?
  • Of those, what am I most authoritative in?

For example:

  • I consider myself a lot better with women than most men.
  • I have a background in grappling and martial arts but I'm no black belt.
  • And I've made a lot of money online with my followings, and I love helping others with it.

(I have other skills too but I don't want to name them all lolol)

Anyway I then go by that.

  • Could I teach martial arts? Some. Would I enjoy it? Probably. Am I authoritative? Comparatively no, there are many online who are way more authoritative than me.
  • Could I teach men to get women? Definitely. Would I enjoy it? Maybe. Could I be authoritative? Sure, but I'm not passionate about it compared to other things.
  • Could I teach people to make money from their following? Yes. Would I enjoy it? Yes. Would I be authoritative? Of course lol, I'm already doing it.

So helping people make money from their following it is.

See the thought process?

Alternatively, maybe you already have an audience and they already know you for a specific skillset.

For instance, maybe you have a following where you teach people about copywriting. You already have copywriting clients, but now you're thinking of creating a copywriting coaching offer.

This would obviously be the skill that you'd want to sell.

Now here's the last part of this:

Maybe you don't want to sell any of your current skills. Or you don't feel like you have something people would pay money for.

If that's the case, learn a new one.

The best skill you can learn is a high income skill which is a skill that can get you to 6 figures/year in less than 12 months if you put in the work.

If you want to learn a new high income skill, download my free High Income Skill Guide.

This will give you a list of high income skills you can learn and make money from within MONTHS if you're motivated.

I did the exact same with copywriting. I learned copywriting, and within 4 months I was using my new skillset to help clients make more money from their followings.

Even though I wasn't ANYWHERE near as good as I am now, I was still able to help them enough to make money.

The downside of learning a new skill is that it will take time.

For instance, if you have a skill you've known for years and you're damn good at, it will be much easier to sell than if you learn something entirely new.

Anyway, after doing this exercise you should have a very strong idea you want to sell, if you don't already know it for sure.

Next...

You MUST Have Results

The next piece of this equation is to have results.

This means results for you, and ideally for either:

  • Your friends
  • Your followers
  • Your clients

Again, ideally you have results for people who aren't you.

But if you don't, you should go out and get them.

I'm going to give you some examples of what this looks like.

eCom Jake (@ EcomUnlocked on Twitter)

Jake shows that when you're starting to sell a coaching offer, it can be ok to only have results for yourself.

You just have to demonstrate what you're good at, and ideally with a solid back story.

Starting with only 3000 Twitter followers, Jake made $52,000 in the List Money Multiplier program after 3 1/2 months. selling high ticket eCom.

The reason why Jake only has results for himself is because he only started his account a few months before he sold his course, and it takes months to start a successful high ticket drop shipping store.

When he was coaching his clients, he found it easy to get them results. After all, he'd successfully run a store several times himself.

He's also very well positioned in his market, because he's one of the few people talking about high ticket drop shipping. That gave him a boost as well.

So it was enough to point to his own results to get clients.

As Jake gets more results for clients, he can show off those results as well.

And even though he's doing very well right now, more results for clients will help his marketing and sales considerably!

How Jack Sells for $5000 a client (from $99/hour before)

Next, enter Jack Peach.

Before talking to me, he'd never sold anything for more than a few hundred bucks.

But the man was good at helping men find committed women to have long term relationships.

His qualification? Probably the main one is that he has been in a happy relationship for several years.

He'd written a lot about relationships so he had built up a following of just under 20,000 at the time.

In the meantime he helped men in his online audience who were coming to him with questions.

That's pretty much it.

That made him enough of an expert people were willing to pay for his advice.

The thing is - when he first did it, he was only selling his advice for $99 an hour.

So what was his key to charging $5000 an hour?

Don't charge per hour...

Instead, sell based on the cost of not solving the problem.

Of course, this means they need to be 100% persuaded you'll solve their problem.

Thus in his offer we made it clear it's a system they can follow forever, and that the results are guaranteed if they follow the program.

(We'll talk more about this later in the article)

There's a huge focus on this being the ONLY "system" they'll ever need to be great with women.

Thus, it makes men believe that they just need to know his system and their problem is solved.

In this video you can hear how Jack Peach changed his life. It's a testimonial for my program of course, but he talks about what he's done inside.

How Eddy Quan Sold a "VIP" Ghostwriting Offer for $12,500

Eddy Quan (@ waronweakness on Twitter), a well known writing and Twitter growth expert, had around 75,000 followers when I started helping him.

I knew from talking to him that despite having a large following, he was severely under-monetized.

(Don't worry, as I'll explain you don't need anywhere near this many followers to do this, but it's definitely a plus)

Eddy already was charging a handful of clients a few grand a month each for email services.

But he wasn't selling much past that.

Good monetization is usually marked by at least $1/follower/month, and even though he was making money, he was nowhere near that.

Then I told him I had a client that needed help with ghostwriting, and asked if he'd be interested. He said yes.

So I put the offer together for him and showed him how to sell it.

This client was high net worth and was willing to pay it to build his account and save time in the process.

I told Eddy that the client had a lot of money and was trying to save time, and to not be afraid to charge $12500. It was positioned as a premium offer for VIPs.

Next thing you know, he closed $12500 to get the client his first 5000 Twitter followers.

Not only that, but the client has stayed on retainer for him ever since, and has introduced him to other high net worth clients since!

If you want to know more, read the rest of Eddy's story here.

To Wrap it Up About Your Skillset

As you can see, you need a few things:

  • A following (we'll talk about how to grow your following in another article, but anyone can do it)
  • A skillset that you demonstrate to your followers
  • A solid offer

All of these guys had those, and that's why they succeeded.

We'll talk more about the offer soon, don't worry.

But first...

Do you need a huge following to get clients?

One of the biggest misconceptions about selling your skills to your online audience is that you need a huge following to get clients.

No doubt, it helps. But you do not need a huge following.

For example:

  • Andy Strohm had only 2000 followers and he was able to make $35,000 in 14 weeks selling sales coaching for $3000 in my List Money Multiplier program.
  • Richard Huntsman, a chiropractor, started with 4000 followers, and has already closed health coaching deals for $3k despite never having done it before. (Case study will be posted in the future)
  • Jake (as mentioned above) only had 3000 followers yet he closed $52,000 in 3 1/2 months.
  • Jack Bly only had 500 followers when he started List Money Multiplier, but he was still able to make thousands of dollars a month from it. Years later, he's now at around 60,000 Twitter followers averaging around $60k/month!

Don't get me wrong, the more engaged followers you have that know you for your expertise, the better.

But I've regularly helped clients with small followings make these types of sales from their accounts even while they were small.

You don't need a huge following to start making money.

Plus if you can monetize a small audience, you know for sure once you grow you're gonna make a lot more money.

Bullshit Lies You're Probably Telling Yourself

Let's talk about how people hold themselves back from this reality.

Selling your skills via your following is actually very simple, once you know what to do.

However, most people are limiting themselves by their own false beliefs.

To be very fair, I've had limiting beliefs myself before, so I can relate to you if you're telling yourself some bullshit as well.

Below are a lot of the limiting beliefs that people tell themselves, and there's a very good chance you're telling yourself at least one of them.

"I don't think I'll be able to get clients"

When you're first starting out, the whole thing can seem intimidating. You've never done this before, and you're not 100% confident people will pay you money for your skills.

But here's the thing:

Both myself and most clients of mine had ZERO sales and marketing experience past building an online following, but they were still able to crush it with some help.

And fortunately, there are multiple proven ways to attract clients for people exactly in your shoes, who've never done it before.

The simplest way is to just talk about what you're an expert at via your following, and you can start at least selling some consultations.

People will naturally follow you because they find you interesting and want to learn more about what you can do for them.

Again, everyone started from nowhere, including me.

I worked in healthcare all of my 20s, and admittedly I had my doubts starting out as well.

I was able to start a following first talking about self improvement, before I eventually shifted over to helping people make money from their following.

After talking about how to grow and make money from a Twitter account, skills I had just learned months before...

People started hitting up my DMs wanting help with their Twitter accounts.

And some of them became clients. Low paying, at the time, but that's because I didn't know much about how to make coaching offers like I do today.

And like many of my clients, I had absolutely zero marketing or online sales experience, yet I was able to grind it out by showing what I was good at, and eventually learning copywriting to pick up clients.

With time, I built the List Money Multiplier program which continued into making millions for clients.

But I had to start somewhere. And it really wasn't that long ago.

Case in point, anyone can get clients, and you don't need to do anything special except start a following showing off your skillset and results.

I even have a client that closed $21,000 in a month helping people quit porn! (Lol)

"I'm afraid I can't get results for clients"

This is a common limiting mindset people have.

They're afraid that if they get clients, they won't be able to actually get them results.

Or maybe the client will refund and bad mouth them.

There are several ways to bring this risk to almost zero:

  1. Get results with free or inexpensive clients first, to build your confidence.
  2. Add a "Work with me until you get results" guarantee to your offer.
  3. Make sure you only sell to people you can help.

The first tip alone is enough for most new people.

When they realize that they should work with people for free or cheap to confidently get results for other people, they're then much more confident when they charge thousands of dollars to work with them.

The second tip is just a solid guarantee to introduce into your offer.

I've had clients that took an extra month or two to get the results I wanted, and it wasn't a big deal.

They were happy that they got what they wanted even if it took a little longer.

#3 Is just good sales sense and ethics.

Even down the road, you want you success rate as close to 100% as humanly possible, so you do not want to sell things to people who it wouldn't work for.

In short, if you do all three of these things the chances of having this issue with your client (and it being your fault, because sometimes clients simply don't do the work) is very low.

"Thousands of dollars is a lot of money, I'd be afraid to charge it"

This is a common limiting belief from people before they worked with me, yet when it was over they were able to charge thousands of dollars to work with them.

With confidence.

And like I mentioned, I also was new to sales and online marketing once.

And it wasn't too long ago.

For a while, the most I'd ever sold was some affiliate courses and some cheap eCom products.

And that was with zero background in sales.

Certainly not enough background to sell products for thousands of dollars right?

Wrong.

I picked up a copywriting book (Cashvertising) and helped people with copywriting.

Plus at the time, I was growing fast on Twitter as well, so I created a course on that.

Eventually, I sold consulting on helping people make more money from their followings.

I got clients good results at first, but as I got better at what I did, my clients' results got better. Thus, my prices went up considerably, and people were willing to pay them.

Just a few years later, to work with me 1-on-1 I charge 5 figures USD.

(Less for my group coaching program, because it takes less of my time.)

There's nothing technically "special" about how I learned all this.

I just learned a skill from scratch, put it to work, and turned it into a business.

If I can do it, and so can my clients, you can do it as well.

"This would take too much time"

Undoubtedly, there's some time involvement to build this type of business, but this is not the barrier most people think it is.

First off, if you're building a business, you need to expect there to be some time component to it. If you don't think that, you might as well close this article.

That said, it doesn't take as long as you most likely think. With solid guidance, of course.

Clients in my List Money Multiplier program build a profitable business with an average of 10 hours a week.

Second, if you think you don't have the time...you're on social media already, are you not?

Almost everyone on social media already spends way too much time on it.

So if you're on social media anyway, you just have to take existing time spent consuming and turn it into producing.

Which means for most people, the actual amount of free time they have doesn't change at all, they're just using previously wasted time efficiently.

Many of my clients didn't have a ton of time to spend, but they put in a solid 10 hours a week, and with a little consistency they were able to get the job done.

Plus, once everything is set up PROPERLY, you can have a profitable business from your following in 3-8 hours a week.

Especially if you have an audience already, be sure to read this article to see what that would look like.

"How do I know what to charge?"

Good question.

I'm going to give you a general pricing system that I use.

ROUGHLY this is how I'll price a coaching offer. Just know that these are general guidelines and there are MANY exceptions to these, but this should still be a helpful guide.

  • $0 up front with a % of sales - If you're brand new and selling a business to business (B2B) offer that makes clients earn more money.
  • $100-$1000 - "Beta testing" a new offer - to see if people will pay, and if you can get them results. You'll typically announce it's a beta test to your prospects so they know it's inexpensive for a reason.
  • $3000 - New to selling your coaching offer and confident you can get results. You've gotten previous clients, followers, or friends results, but your social proof isn't overwhelming yet. This is typically where I start my clients.
  • $5000 - Solid reputation. Great results. Lots of proof that what you do works. Usually the first price raise for my clients' programs is from $3000 to $5000.
  • $10,000 - The market has been proven to buy at a lower price, and you have a lot of demand even at $5000.
  • $25,000+ - What you're teaching is very valuable and/or in high demand with limited space. For instance if you can only take a few clients and you have 100,000s of followers. Or if it takes a lot of time and can't be scaled. If you have something you're charging $25k for, you'll usually want something that's considerably lower priced (like group coaching or a course) so you can deliver your knowledge at scale.

There's a bit more to it than this when it comes to pricing, but this how I choose the general ballpark of how I'll price an offer.

How to know if people might buy what you want to sell

Alright, so you may be asking...

"Would people actually buy what I'm selling?"

The answer is almost always yes, and you just need to do a little market research.

There are several ways of doing this:

  1. The easiest way to do this is to talk to your audience now, if you have one.

(If you don't, don't worry, I'll get to what to do next)

All you have to do is poll your audience.

I like to ask questions such as:

  • Why are they following me?
  • What's their #1 goal (relating to what I'm selling)?
  • What are their biggest challenges reaching that goal?
  • What options have they tried before?

You can ask these as polls or open ended questions to your audience, or you can do it privately.

These questions alone are very revealing.

Also, if you have an audience already, another great way to do market research is to just take consultations.

Consultations are a great way to get paid for market research.

(They can be free too of course, it's up to you. But try to get paid for them).

Consultations aren't ideal for making the most amount of money possible, but they are ideal to get paid while building a bigger, better offer.

Plus you're actually testing your audience to see if they'd buy from you. If you've built up good authority and can solve a real problem for your audience, people will buy your consultations.

2. Lastly, the other thing I'll do is make sure that people are actually selling my idea somehow.

Before I sell something, I want to know if someone is making money with it in some way.

For instance, if I'm interested in selling spiritual consultations, I'm going to look up other people online doing similar.

It doesn't matter if they have a course, group, coaching program, or something else. I just want to know that money is being made in some way.

If people aren't making money with it then I'm going to be very wary. At least if I'm new to marketing.

(Don't worry about "competition" - if your offer is good and people like you, they'll buy from you).

Here's one way to do this research, taken from the first version of the List Money Multiplier program (the sound is quiet because I recorded the first version on a Bluetooth mic lol, so turn it up)

The most important thing you can get out of this lesson is whether or not your offer idea is viable.

The Technical Stuff (How-To)

Before you get to this point, you should already have a strong idea of whether or not your offer is viable.

I want to know, in some way, if people are interested in what I have to sell.

Whether I'm asking my own audience if I have one or figuring out if people are buying from people doing what I want to do, (or ideally, both), I should know if it's viable.

If you want to create the offer now, this part of this article is going to explain enough how-to to get you going on your own.

If you determined that you can see your offer working for you and you just want my help, you can skip this entire section and scroll to the bottom.

Working with me would help you get the best results possible, as quickly as possible, while eliminating the chance of failure on your own.

(I also have guarantees to ensure your success)

With that said, if you want to do it on your own, keep reading.

You won't learn how to do everything only in this article, but if you want to get started on creating your own offer then this section will teach you a lot.

And I'm going to link you to an offer creation resource if you decide you want to do it all on your own.

Creating a System For Your Offer

One of the most important things you can do is create a system for your offer. This is the method that you're selling people to get the result.

You know how marketers always say they have an X Step System? There's a reason for that cliché.

This is why a system is so important:

  • It shows you've done it before
  • It shows that you have a specific method to solve their specific problem
  • If your system is unique, it demonstrate why it's unique and better in some way than other systems
  • It makes it clear for them what they need to do to get the result
  • It's scalable, meaning you can sell it as a course and/or teach it to other experts to help clients under your wing

If you came to me for help, which would you rather hear?

"Yeah bro we're gonna work on this, it'll take a while but I'm pretty sure we can get it done"

Or...

"I got you dude. We're going to use this 6-Step System to get this done within 90 days that I've used to make millions of dollars for clients. It's very simple and only takes 10 hours a week. Here's what the steps look like: (list steps)"

The system adds a lot of certainty into your offer, and if your system is designed correctly, it's the ONLY system you'll ever need.

When they see your system, they have more clarity on what they need to do to get the result, and it gives them confidence that they can use it to solve the problem themselves.

As for how to create a system?

In a nutshell, you pick your ideal client's current situation.

Then decide where he or she WANTS to be (with your help, of course).

Then you write down the main steps they need to get from point A to point B.

For instance, in the List Money Multiplier Program, I get clients from an under-performing or non-existent business via their following, to a business that can make 6+ figures a year in 3-8 hours a week.

In order to do this, I help my clients:

  1. Build an Authoritative Messaging Framework to attract the right clients.
  2. Do Winning Market Research to create an irresistible offer.
  3. Create An Irresistible Offer
  4. Market and Sell the Irresistible Offer
  5. Build the Automated Sales Machine to sell their offer on autopilot.
  6. Optimize the Irresistible Offer to take as little time as possible, while getting clients the best results.

At the end of each step, they're in position to go to the next step.

(On occasion they may have to revisit previous steps, but that's perfectly fine as long as it's the exception rather than the rule.)

You will almost certainly refine your system over time.

I refined my List Money Multiplier system many times to make it what it is today, and to give clients the best results for the least amount of time and effort.

In short, create your own system for what you do to get people from point A (where they are today), to point B (where they want to be with your help).

This will help you market it to potential clients and guide how you deliver your offer.

Offer Types to Create (Including which offers are the best for making the most money in as little time as possible)

Once you know your system, you can think about what offer type you want to create.

Now, understand this:

If people are sold on your system, they will buy it in whichever format makes sense to them.

This means that if people are SOLD on my List Money Multiplier system being the best system out there for audience monetization, and that they think it will work for them, they then can choose to consume it via eBook, course, coaching, a mastermind, or whatever.

Read this article on creating your Big Domino Statement to learn how.

And I don't offer all of those options, but the point is that I CAN do that if I want to.

Also, not all offer structure are the same.

Certain offer structures are just better than others at accomplishing various goals for you and the client, and some of them save time while other ones take more time.

The majority of my clients start with one of the following types of offers:

  • Coaching: Either 1 on 1 coaching, group coaching, or a hybrid of both
  • Done-For-You: Typically done for B2B (Business to Business) services.

I strongly recommend starting with one of the above.

The reason why?

  • You can get paid more money quicker than if it's a cheap info product (eBook or course)
  • You work with clients 1 on 1 to refine your methods
  • You get the best results for clients, leading to more testimonials early on

With that said, I'm going to list the most common offer types, plus what their advantages and disadvantages are.

1 on 1 Coaching:

  • Advantages: No product creation required, easy to sell at a high price, strong relationships built with clients, can be turned into a course, great for refining your system, can be done with 3-6 hours a month per client.
  • Disadvantages: More time necessary than group or hybrid coaching, not scalable without hiring someone. Most people max out between 5-15 clients.

Group Coaching

  • Advantages: No product creation required, easy to sell at a high price, strong relationships built with clients, can be turned into a course, can save significant time, group can be used for a networking and motivational effect.
  • Disadvantages: Still takes SOME time. If there's a very sensitive subject (like quitting porn lol), people may be discouraged from admitting their vices to an entire group as opposed to just one coach.

Hybrid Coaching (Mixed 1 on 1 and Group Coaching)

  • Advantages: Allows you to personalize (the 1 on 1 portion) while still being time efficient with group calls. No product creation required, easy to sell at a high price, strong relationships built with clients, can be turned into a course.
  • Disadvantages: Still takes some time to deliver.

Done-For-You (Typically B2B Freelancing/Agency Offers)

  • Advantages: Easiest to sell. Can eliminate almost all variables for client to fail. Can be used to refine your process to turn into a course or coaching program.
  • Disadvantages: Hardest and/or most time consuming to fulfill. Requires hiring if you want to deliver at scale.

Membership Site

  • Advantages: Can deliver one-to-many very easily, good for funneling people into a high ticket offer, creates predictable monthly revenue.
  • Disadvantages: Takes time to build, requires management to keep subscribers, less ideal for smaller followings.

Course:

  • Advantages: Good for funneling people into a high ticket offer, create it once and it's done. Great for affiliate marketing to lead people down your funnel.
  • Disadvantages: Takes time to create.

eBook:

  • Advantages: Good for funneling people into a high ticket offer, create it once and it can be sold forever, great for demonstrating expertise.
  • Disadvantages: Lengthier eBooks take a lot of time to write. They're sold at low prices in most cases because people expect eBooks to be cheap. Not a good option for monetizing your following for the first time, unless you attach a high ticket upsell (coaching).

Mastermind (In Person)

  • Advantages: You meet people in person, there's a strong networking effect between attendees, people pay closer attention than any other method, they're excellent marketing material and can be used for paid or free content.
  • Disadvantages: Lots of logistics to coordinate, people have to arrive in person meaning scheduling conflicts can reduce sales, hard to run more than a few times a year tops.

Mastermind (Online)

  • Avantages: Gives you a great option to continue a relationship after they left your first coaching program, can have in person events if you'd like, can be structured similar to group coaching to minimize your time investment and maximize the networking effect.
  • Disadvantages: Not usually the best first offer, takes some of your time.

Alright...

NOW you should have a general idea of what type of offer you want to sell.

Again, if you're not sure, 95% of people reading this are best served off with a Coaching Offer or Done-For-You to start.

Creating Your Offer

Actually creating an amazing offer is the most challenging part for a lot of people.

I'm not going through the entire offer creation process in this article, it's already long enough.

The best FREE resource on this is the course version of the book $100m Offers. I also recommend getting a copy of the book on a site like Amazon. Last I checked, it's only 99 cents on Kindle.

In the List Money Multiplier program, the offer creation method is slightly different but incorporates everything you'll find in $100m Offers.

In LMM, it's more optimized for speed then we refine it after it's been selling. Plus me and my team work with all clients to ensure their offers are amazing.

No matter how good clients think their offers are, we always find things to improve that result in considerable sales increases for clients.

Everything in the method you'll find in $100m Offers works incredibly well, and even if you only do an ok job with it you can usually make a good enough offer to sell. And if you go through its method thoroughly you can make an incredible offer.

The downside is that it's a time consuming method, and it's easy to get certain things wrong if you aren't very thorough about the entire process.

If you need help with your offer (even if there was no money for me I still STRONGLY recommend you have an expert look over your offer), then feel free to reach out via the links on the bottom of this article.

If you don't want to do that, the book's method is excellent and I recommend you go through it and apply everything to your own offer.

What if you have an offer selling now and want my help?

A lot of people already have offers selling, then they come to me to make the offer better.

Every case is individual, but usually what we do is this:

  • Make sure we have a clear system to market and deliver your offer
  • Charge according to the value of solving the problem (this is a huge deal)
  • Make the offer more valuable by saving them time, effort, and increase their perceived chance of success.
  • Come up a solution to all of the potential problems customers will have getting the result (this is a huge one, and usually the biggest challenge to people doing this on their own).
  • Show proof that it works and would work for the prospect (this is on the marketing end, but most people are under-marketing and not showing enough proof)
  • Add bonuses to make your offer even more valuable

If you need help, send me a message (preferred, if we're connected) or leave a comment here and I'll get back to you.

Fin

Ok, that was a lot. I had no idea this article would end up being this long.

If you've gone through this entire article, you should at least know the following:

  • What skillset you want to sell as a service
  • Who's already selling something that's similar to what you want to sell.
  • What your offer structure could look like

And if you want to do it on your own, you can learn how to create a great offer with $100m Offers.

You're welcome.

Do you need more help?
