My thoughts are with Ukraine right now. I cannot begin to fathom the suffering across the entirety of the nation. That's why I've come up with some ways that we can support those struggling in Ukraine. Everyone has the right to freedom, safety, and peace.?

How Can I Support Ukraine??

You can donate to the following nonprofits:

1. UNHCR

The UNHCR will be providing immediate protection and shelter for those forced to flee their homes in Ukraine. Furthermore, their fundraising promise is 73% humanitarian programs, 13% fundraising, and 14% administration.

2. Save The Children Ukraine

Once needs assessments are completed and their team can safely assist Ukraine, Save The Children will assist in ways such as:

? Distributing hygiene, shelter, and household items

? Operating Child-Friendly Spaces

? Ensuring unaccompanied children and minors have a safe place to go and are protected from the increased risk of exploitation and abuse

? Coordinating with local health authorities to support primary healthcare systems, health workers and community volunteers to ensure safe, adequate and continued delivery of essential lifesaving health and nutrition services to children and their families

? Providing cash assistance to affected families

? Providing Psychological First Aid to children and families

? Regional Preparedness to ensure surrounding countries of Poland, Romania and Lithuania have the staff and resources to undertake early preparedness actions and support people as they cross the border

3. Tabletochki

Tabletochki assists and supports children through every stage of their Cancer treatment including examination, diagnostics, search for and procurement of medicines, treatment coordination in Ukraine and overseas, psychological support, and organisation of special events for children.

4. UNICEF

UNICEF is attending to vulnerable children and families in Ukraine by trucking safe water and prepositioning health, hygiene and emergency education supplies. They have offices and teams across Ukraine and in neighbouring countries ready to assist.

World Vision has so far provided food, water, and hygiene kits to affected families in Ukraine and Romania. They are also mobilising teams to meet the needs of growing refugee populations in Moldova and Georgia.

In recent news, people have been funnelling donations to Ukrainians by directly booking homes and experiences as a way to show their support. Almost?61,500 nights were booked?in Ukraine, providing $1.9 million to hosts in the country, Chesky tweeted. Moreover, Airbnb has offered free housing to up to 100,000 people fleeing Ukraine through Airbnb.org its associated nonprofit. Airbnb is also?temporarily waiving?guest and host fees on bookings in the country.

Etsy customers have also been purchasing digital files from Ukrainians in an effort to support small business owners. If you're interested in doing the same, you can do the following:
