How You Can Eliminate ALL of Your Competition

Some of you may feel like you're always looking over your shoulder to see what the "other guys" are doing...
It's exhausting just thinking about "what" your competition is doing.?
It's also distracting....but that's not my point today.
What I am about to share is why I don't care what my competition is doing.
Like I don't even spend a moment thinking about the "other guys".
I'm also going to show you why you should be doing the same. But first let me ask you this...
Wouldn't life be easier for you if your competition suddenly disappeared?
"Of course, Mike, but if I don't keep up with the trends then other advisors...consultants...sales professionals...will steal my clients."
That's not entirely true.
In fact...implementing one simple concept can theoretically eliminate ALL of your competition.
That Concept: Specialization
Last week, I wrote about the importance of finding the BIG challenge (or pain point) that is plaguing your niche audience. Because once you've found that challenge you can form an offer for you (the specialist) to solve that BIG problem.
Take financial advisors as an example. To most, the market feels like it's saturated. And it's easy to think that...considering there are millions of financial advisors on LinkedIn.?
BUT 95% of those advisors are all saying the exact...same...thing as one another.
"I have a custom-tailored approach..."
"I have these certifications..."
"My clients love and trust me..."

"I have a loving spouse and a few kids..."
At that point, most advisors sound like parrots. Just repeating the same thing as the advisor next to them.
In other words, there is a LACK of specialization.
But what if you specialized in optimizing RSUs, Stock Options, and Equity Comp Plans? Well I know there is a whole market full of millions of people who are looking for The Specialist to help them with that problem.
Now think about if a person with the challenge of optimizing their equity comp plan is approached by a bunch of advisors all saying things like:
"I have a custom-tailored approach..."
"I have these certifications..."
"My clients love and trust me..."
"I have a loving spouse and a few kids..."
But only one advisor approaches this person with an offer to solve their BIG challenge.
I think you can guess who that person is choosing to be their advisor.
Not only does that advisor win the client...they eliminate all other competition by default. Because they ARE the SPECIALIST!
Everyone wants the specialist. For everything.
The same principle applies to business. Whether it's financial services, consultants, coaches, sales professionals, and so on...
So you want to eradicate your competition and make getting clients easier?
Become a specialist. It's what I teach all of my clients to do.?
And they typically close 1-2 new ideal clients per month using that strategy...plus a couple other simple LinkedIn tactics ??
