How You Can Easily Add an Extra 5-Figures to Your Online Sales With This Powerful Retargeting Method

Have you ever clicked on an ad, went away and then found that you kept seeing that same ad over and over again as if it were following you?

That my friend is what we marketers call "retargeting" in action.

Retargeting reminds your customers of your products & services after they've left your website without purchasing.

The thing is, people don't always buy on the first time.

In fact, studies suggest that a prospect will have to see an ad at least 7 times before finally making a purchase decision.

Therefore, if you are not currently taking advantage of retargeting, you are leaving a tremendous amount of money on the table.

In this article, I will be revealing our main retargeting strategy that has allowed us to generate an extra 5-figures in online sales for our clients.

To begin, there’s no doubt that retargeting is essential when it comes to marketing & advertising.

The great thing about the modern era is that newer ad platforms such as Facebook and Google ads have made it so much easier to retarget people, while also making it 10x more effective.

Facebook's "pixel" gives marketers the ability to track user data across the platform, which allows for effective retargeting.

Facebook ads allows for a range of retargeting methods, whether that be to people who visited your website, people who liked your page, or even people who watched your video.

Retargeting ads will lift ad engagement rates by 400% on average. So it is evident that it is crucial for any business.

Now that we understand the importance of retargeting, we will be going over how to retarget in the most effective way possible, so that you can add up to 5-figures to your online sales.

To begin, I will be introducing the 3-part funnel we use for retargeting for our clients.

When it comes to retargeting, we divide the funnel into 3 segments: the top, middle, and bottom. 

At each stage we implement a different strategy to retarget our potential customers.

The 3-part funnel

Before we even start retargeting lets explain how we begin targeting altogether.

At the top of the funnel lies individuals who have never heard of the brand. 

This is referred to as your cold audience. 

Here, we will focus on showing the exact benefits of the product and what how it can ultimately improve the lives of our customers.

This way they will be more likely to click on the ad and want to learn more.

At the middle of the funnel, lies people who have seen our ads before and possibly engaged with the ads, but never actually went to the website.

For these people, we will retarget them with ads that display some of the additional features our products can provide, just to give that extra nudge to check out the site.

Lastly, at the bottom of the funnel is people who have been on our website already, but did not end up purchasing.

For these people we will add a small discount, maybe an extra 10% off just so reduce any last minute resistance that they before purchasing the product. 

And for those who have purchased already, we will encourage them to sign up for our news letter where we can continue to sell to them through email marketing.

This is the retargeting system that consistently allows us to add an extra 5-figures to the online sales of of our clients.
