How are you better than the other guy?

It’s a fair question to ask - why are your widgets better than the other suppliers?

If you answer this direct you get into the ‘bagging you opposition' argument - and this does you more harm than good. But if you say you won't comment as you don't want to speak foul of someone else you run the risk of letting an inferior product seem as good as yours.

The better question to answer is, ‘How are your widgets different to the opposition?’

Good question Darren. My response would be - keep it about the problem you're solving or value you're adding. What's the impact to the business from choosing you? Or not choosing you? If not, you end up in feature/function land!
