How to write marketing blogs your clients will read

Typically, when writing an article for your blog, you always have a target audience in your mind, and you should ensure that they are satisfied with your content. First, you need to understand your client and what they expect from your blog or website. For instance, if you are doing a real estate business, then your audience expect your website to contain property market content. The same applies to other industries such as travel, tourism or even news blogs. The question that should be running through your head is how to produce excellent content that will keep your clients glued on your blog. As much as you are selling your products, you should ensure that you provide educative, interesting and objective content that will easily resonate well with your clients.

What are the best tips to follow when writing blog content for your clients?

Managing a business blog is not that easy; you need to balance between educating your audience and promoting your products. Clients easily get bored with some content that only requests them to buy certain products. However, you can find other ways of wooing clients to buy your products by providing educative and exciting content. Consider using the following tips to when writing a marketing blog content;

1.   Come up with Magnetic topics                                               

The headlines you choose to use in your articles can either break or make a piece of content great and attractive. Headlines alone are the most significant traffic generators; many clients will first look at the content title before they decide whether to read it or not. Make sure the article title is short and catchy all the time.

2.   Go for proven content types

Always use the scientifically approved types of content to pool clients on your blog. After all, you need traffic on your website, and that can only be achieved if you use the content types that many people like. For instance, studies have indicated that many blog readers prefer listing articles that end in zeroes such as the lists of 10, or 20 among others than other contents ending with different digits like 15, 12, or even 25. There are also other blog content formats that attract more readers, and they include;

3.   Develop Content that Your Clients Care About

Do your research to understand what your clients need and serve them with content that satisfies their needs. Don’t confuse your audience by providing a mixture of content or mixing issues. Remember, some formats such as infographic, videos, or guides might not replace the content but only paint a picture of what you are talking about. Always stick to your line of duty. If your block is about cryptocurrency, real estate or tourism make sure the content is consistent and adds value to your business.

4.   Provide the Clients with Tips and Tools for Action

Your readers expect you to provide them with a solution to specific problems in their lives. Therefore, make sure your content guides them on how to solve some of their challenges in your area. Give clients ideas and tools they can use to act on the information you are serving them such as proposing checklists, software, products or even worksheets.

In summary, knowing what your clients need will make it easy for you to attract them as well as market your products easily.
