How to write an Effective Webinar Script (Step by Step Template)

If you sell in the online space, then you know this...

WEBINARS ARE FAST BECOMING THE HOLY GRAIL OF MODERN SALES

This is not only because...

? Webinars have a more personal feel...

But also...

? It converts like crazy!

In a world where your audience is becoming more and more sophisticated by the day, there is a need to approach your digital sales in a more effective way.

While this is true... A lot of people hate the idea of having webinars...

The reason is this...

WEBINARS ARE PERCEIVED TO BE HARD

I wouldn't say that is 100 percent inaccurate...

But another thing is...

HARD is relative

It can be a nightmare and scary as hell if you haven't done it before...

Even if you have, the coast is still not all clear.

You will experience an almost similar problem that a Webinar newbie would, if you don't have a system that works to help you create one that sparks...

One thing... By the time you read this article till then, you will have a highly converting result-replicable webinar script template in your ammo...

But really...

How long should it really take you to create a 45 minutes webinar script that sparks?

The answer?

IT DEPENDS...

But typically... It shouldn't take you more than 3 hours to write.

And it will even take that long if...

1. You still have to do some research

2. You still have to rack your head for some formula that works...

With this step-by-step guide, you are about to cut that time in half

Let's dive in...

? Step One: Introduce and Future Pace

Hey, I know your typical idea of an introduction goes...

"in case you don't know me, my name is yada yada yada"

I'm grinning with pleasure to break it to you right now that...

NOBODY CARES!

I gotta be real with you, very few people give a sh*t about that...

So while you can introduce yourself briefly, make it as short and relevant as possible...

Then move on to the actual part of the introduction!

But what really will you be introducing here?

The Journey

Give them a roadmap of the journey.

For example...

"In this webinar, I'm going to be showing you the exact steps to XYZ with just a few XYZ"

Next...

? Step Two: Future Pace

What should they be looking forward to?

This is where you make your BOLD claim (or at least a fraction of it)

Your primary mission is to get them to watch till the end

So, this is an incentive that gets them to watch the entire webinar till the end or to a specific point in the webinar.

For example...

"Follow me for the next 5 minutes, I'm going to be giving you the premium tools that you need to launch a successful webinar for $0"

Specificity might help here

? Step Three: Problem Explore

You may not have been told yet, but here's a free trip for you...

"One of the major advantages that webinar provides you is the opportunity to expand your prospects' problems before their very eyes and dramatize it with gestures (or voice tone if it's a presentation webinar)"

What is the problem they are facing?

Don't say it. Dramatize It!

Don't mention the problem...

Mention the effect.

The money isn't in the problem the money is in the effect the problem has and the reward lies in how best you make them feel it on the spot!

"What does that problem of not having a good webinar plan cause them?"

Remember, THE EFFECTS!

Then bring examples of real-time people facing the problem...

If it's a live webinar, here's your opportunity to make it even more dramatic and participatory, you open the mics to one or two persons to say how much the problem hurts...

This will allow to milk on the problem even more

? Step Four: Give them a Nibble On the Cake

It's not enough to key in on the problem. It's time to give them a little bite of the cake.

Show them a bit of your process.

In fact, help them even solve a part of the problem right on the spot.

Get them in the 'wow-mode'. That's your bait!

? Step Five: Introduce a Solution

But don't talk about the price just yet...

Show them why this is really the solution they need

You'll need to do two things here...

? Show people who have had the same problem solved by that solution

? Point fingers and tell why they haven't found a real solution to the problem until now!

? Step Six: Begin Unpacking the Goodies

Show them the first half of it first. The amazing things they will get.

The things that will help them solve their problem.

Remember to Show, not tell...

? Step 7: Name a fair Price

Mention a higher price that would have been a fair charge for the solution.

What you can do for some more drama here is this...

Revert back to the pain the problem has caused them to make them see that it is indeed a fair price.

But don't make it sound repetitive...

And Please...

Sound like you care.

You're talking about people's deep problems here, don't make it sound like an announcement or some TV emotionless broadcast!

No offense to the TV guys

But, yes. Sound like you care.

Onward...

? Step 8: Unpack more Goodies that would make SOLVING THEIR PROBLEM WAY EASIER

Yeah, we're getting there...

You see, now that you've been able to wow them...

Now is the time to wow them even more... To let them see that life could be much easier...

This will make them know it's really not about the money you're charging...

You want to sound like you don't even care about that!

? Step 9: Now state your actual price

Now, we're there

They have been able to come to terms with why your higher price would have been worth it.

Now show them a price that would make them feel foolish to miss the opportunity...

? Step 10: Add something Juicy to make it MORE Immediate.

Not a reduction in price now

Not adding more stuff or bonuses to it either

~ Make an Offer that would make them go crazy to take an action now.

Maybe...

- Help the first 5 persons create a script right now.

Whatever. Something immediate

? Step 11: Add a Short Time Span for them to take that Steal

You see, this is one of the major places people get it wrong...

They leave an open window to let the air escape through!

You've pumped the pressure up, now you must keep it in the room!

Make it a very short time span to get them on...

For example...

"Before 12 midnight"

"Before the webinar ends"

Something immediate works best.

Don't go giving them 3-7 days opportunity.

Short time like...

"in 30 minutes"

"3 hours"

One of my best-performing pitches had a 2 hours open window!

That pitch converted over 62%!

You see, don't make an error here...

There are some people who for some reason, will not be able to make payment within that short time, they will beg for some more time...

Mostly a short span of additional time. That's a given.

But you don't want to go giving people too much rope, they won't take it!

? Step 12: Allow questions

I added this last because it doesn't apply in all cases...

In case you're doing a live webinar, allow people to ask questions and resolve the question right on the spot!

You must understand this...

Every question asked is a possible objection.

Kill it on the Spot!

But don't let the question wait till the end

You can allow one person to have the mic to ask questions at intervals...

Or better yet...

You can have a moderator that helps pick a question from comments every 10 minutes

But do this with discretion, you want to be able to effectively manage the stage!

And there you have it...

A broken down system you can script every of your webinar around!

A Webinar Template that helps you cut down the time you'd spend on creating a webinar script...
