How to write CV?

Making a good first impression on potential employers and presenting yourself professionally need creating an excellent CV.

Here are few tips for you to write your CV well-

Resume Summary or Objective

Write a brief, compelling summary or objective statement that highlights your career goals and summarizes your key qualifications.

Professional Experience

List your work experience in reverse chronological order (most recent job first).

For each position, include:

  • Job title
  • Company name with Location (city, state)
  • Dates of employment (with start and end dates including month and year)
  • Brief job description
  • Achievements and contributions (quantify results when possible)

Education

  • Include your educational background in reverse chronological order.
  • Provide details such as the degree earned, major, school name, graduation date, and relevant academic achievements.

Achievements and Accomplishments

Create a separate section to showcase significant achievements or awards that demonstrate your value.

Do mention your key Projects (if applicable) you worked on. Include a section on relevant projects you've worked on, particularly if you're in a field where project experience is important.

Skills

Highlight your skills relevant to the job you're applying for. Categorize them into sections such as technical skills, soft skills, and certifications. Do not forget to mention any relevant professional development, certifications, or training you've completed.

Contact Information

Include your full name, phone number, email address, and LinkedIn profile (if applicable). Make sure your contact information is clear and easy to find.

Languages

If you are proficient in multiple languages, mention them!
