How to wrap a wing mirror: 3 essential techniques
Wrapping a car’s wing mirrors is a great way for owners to add individuality to their vehicle. A wing mirror wrap is the ideal, low-cost way to give a car a unique look, while also providing paint protection for the mirrors.
Like everything vehicle wrapping, material choice is key and will dictate the technique you use. But first, you need to prepare the surface.
Preparation
The process starts with thoroughly cleaning the wing mirror with a lint-free cloth in and a surface preparation cleaner. Then, apply knifeless tape to the wing mirror wherever you need a clean edge. Lastly, apply heat over the tape with your heat gun to ensure correct adhesion.
