HOW TO WORK ON YOURSELF, FIRST

I engage with Craig Bruce on regular basis. He is one of my personal coaches and I do have several. I believe in order to grow, you work with people that are actually better than yourself (in particular areas).

That is how I become a better and more complete person in the various areas of my life.

And YES, I am a coach. I'm really good, but I am a "LinkedIn Business Coach". So I concentrate on how to build better relationships and obtain high-value clients. That is a bit different than some other aspects I like to work on. ??

Why do I need help?

You might ask "Why do you need help, Troy?"

The answer is EVERYTHING is connected

EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED

• The better I identify the attributes of the right client, the less I worry about dealing with the wrong clients.
• The better I sleep the better I perform.
• How I create separation allows growth and finer expertise in the important areas.
• I want to be happy and can envision what that looks like. So I need help or advice to get there.

In other words, I wanted to get more out of life and did not want to sacrifice my business or my family. Well, I am a single dad right now but you get the idea. I might want more in the family area/relationship area.

And I don't want to waste time dealing with the wrong people.

Sounds harsh but helping or engaging with the wrong people can really do damage in your life.

Troy wants to be happy, not sad...

So how do I get more out of my life without sacrificing my business or my relationships?

Well for everyone it's a little different. We all have some of the same general wants and needs however the flavors of those can vary widely.

Craig Bruce is also known as “The Craig Bruce of Coaches.” Not really sure what that means. I made it up when I was helping him with his LinkedIn profile. But, it kind of rolls off the tongue, doesn't it? So we kept it as it sounds like he is special.

And he is, in a good way ??

For me, a lot of his support was really practical. Things I "kind of" knew but had to hear from him and his perspective.

Clarity > Action = Progress

That added a lot of clarity. This clarity allowed me to take action. Making progress with action is the key to making a difference.

A lot of the clarity on what I wanted was geared around 2 things.

1. SEPARATION
2. RITUALS (or routines, but rituals sound much cooler)
