How to Work with a Ghostwriter

What does working with a ghostwriter look like? A ghostwriter is a person who helps your voice get heard. They help you get your book written. A ghostwriter uses their skills to tell the world your unique story. A ghostwriter will take the raw material of your memories, notes, ideas, and however else you have documented your thoughts and craft these into a compelling narrative.?
If writing is not your strength or if you just don’t have the time to dedicate to getting all your thoughts organized into a book, a ghostwriter will do the heavy lifting for you.
What to expect:
? A collaborative process to get your ideas out there in your unique voice.
? Time spent collecting and sharing your ideas with the ghostwriter. This could be interviews, ideas you’ve written down that need to be polished up, or email Q and A with the writer.
What NOT to expect:
?? For the ghostwriter to come up with the core idea of the book - these are your ideas shared with the storytelling expertise of the writer.
?? To be uninvolved in the process. The ghostwriter will be writing but needs your input and feedback to keep the book on track.
I LOVE helping people share their ideas with the world. When you understand what to expect, it becomes a very rewarding experience, and the end result is YOUR BOOK ready for the world to see!

1 年?? For the ghostwriter to come up with the core idea of the book - these are your ideas shared with the storytelling expertise of the writer. Wisdom there. I learned the hard way that ghostwriter and client alike get stumped and frustrated if the author/content owner isn't clear on a core idea for the book.
