How to Woo Clients from Home
Do you have an important client you really want to impress? Send them food! Food makes people feel special, happy, and cared for. It's nurturing properties, innately tell your clients that they are important and you care about them.
Step 1: When setting the meeting with said clients, let them know that you'd like to invite them to a Zoom (or whichever face to face platform you prefer) lunch or breakfast. Send them a menu to choose their items from, with your proposed date. If you are on a budget, decide what you can afford to offer, and just send those options (i.e. sandwich boxed lunch: turkey club, tuna salad, cordon bleu sandwich - all come with chips and a cookie) rather than sending the entire menu where they can make multiple choices that can add up.
Step 2: Make sure you have lunch or breakfast with you that day as well (either you order also or bring your own) - as eating alone can make people feel uncomfortable. If your meeting is set for 12:00 pm, make sure your ordering window is before that, so they'll have their food, before you log in. Be sure to include their phone number as the day-of contact, in case the delivery person cannot get into their building, is having trouble finding their apartment or house, etc.
Step 3: Enjoy your meeting!
This is also a great way to share your appreciation with your employees as well!
