Similar to using other exchanges to send crypto to your Ledger wallet, Kucoin is no exception.
● Update Ledger Live to the latest version — if there’s an update available.
● Update Ledger device firmware to the latest version — if there’s an update available.
● Install the asset apps of the crypto you’ll receive.
● Add the asset account in Ledger Live where you’ll receive the crypto.
Note: make sure that the crypto you’re trying to withdraw from Kucoin is in your main account.
- Open the Ledger Live desktop app. Go to the asset account (I’ll be sending Ethereum from Kucoin, so I’ll click on my Ethereum account), you want to receive, click on it, and select “Receive”.
- Review and verify the address on your Ledger device.
- Go to Kucoin and log in to your account. Click on the Assets icon at the top of the page and select Main Account.
- Click Withdraw next to the account you’re sending crypto from. (The address I copied earlier from Ledger Live was for Ethereum, I’ll also send Ethereum from my Binance account.)
- Enter the asset and choose the value you want to send. Paste the receiving address you generated and copied from Ledger Live. Choose the right network and click on confirm.
- Confirm the selection and click “Confirm withdrawal” on the pop-up. Verify the transaction to complete it.
- Now go to the asset account in Ledger Live, your crypto should be there once the transaction has been confirmed.
