How to win sales & close deals.*
Principle 1: Become genuinely interested.
Nobody wants to hear someone ramble on about themselves. Ask questions, demonstrate interest, listen, and you'll become all the more interesting yourself.
Principle 2: Make the customer feel important, and do it sincerely.
Feeling important boosts self-confidence, and the newly self-confident will view their praise positively.
Principle 3: The only way to get the best out of a deal is to embrace it.
Conflict builds walls instead of bridges. If someone disagrees with you, don't press your point. Instead, show them you value their opinion, then work towards a common ground.
Principle 4: Arouse in the customer an eager want.
If the customer doesn't want something, you're going to have a hard time selling. It's not about you wanting the sale, it's about the prospect wanting a solution.
Principle 5: Give honest and humble appreciation.
Demonstrate a sincere appreciation for the person, their business and the time they've given you.
These principles should help in guiding customer interactions.
