Are you a home buyer struggling to have your offer accepted time and time again because of so many multiple offers on the same house? Well, you're not alone. These days we need to be creative and think outside of the box. Every little detail makes a difference, from the contract terms to the presentation. Here are some tips on how to win the bidding war.
1- Think above the asking price. When you see a home for sale that you love, know that yours will not be the only offer. If the home is priced right, you need to automatically tag at least 20,000 onto the price. So, for example, if the list price is 450,000, you need to see that as at least 470,000, and that's conservative. Chances are, it will sell even higher than that in today's very competitive seller's market. Stop questioning yourself and know that if your offer is not above asking, you may very well not win the home of your dreams, so make sure to put your very best foot forward right from the start.
