How and Why to Rewind LinkedIn Key Moments in 2024

How and Why to Rewind LinkedIn Key Moments in 2024

What did your 2024 look like on LinkedIn? There's an easy way to find out. LinkedIn Rewind, by Coauthor.studio lets you:

  • Transform your top insights and achievements into a polished LinkedIn post
  • Stand out with a custom highlights card while your network reflects on 2024
  • Save hours of reflection and drafting time

What you'll get:

  • A thoughtful retrospective post for 2024, including your top posts and insights, achievements, and a look ahead to 2025
  • A shareable image card with your 2024 stats, top quote, and superpower
  • Early access to Coauthor, helping professionals like you transform insights into influential content

There's lots of back-and-forth commentary about whether or not to post these highlights on LinkedIn right now. I get it. It could seem like you're bragging. Or maybe your insights, like mine on Instagram, don't reflect what you thought you accomplished. And, let's be real: LinkedIn posts don't always tell the real story. Life has highs and lows and the IRL experience is far challenging, richer, and rewarding than social media updates can convey.

What I like about #LinkedInRewind is the categories: 2024 vibe, superpower, and top quote. There's also a pre-written post that saves time.

Here's mine:

2024 #LinkedInRewind for Barbara Rozgonyi

2024 proved that the most powerful marketing isn't about algorithms or analytics—it's about authentic stories that connect hearts and minds. Like a garden in full bloom, this year showed how innovation and authenticity grow stronger together.

From speaking on global stages to expanding our digital presence, every milestone reinforced what matters most: helping others shine. ?

Key moments that made 2024 extraordinary:

? Joined Global Entrepreneur Network (GEN) Speakers Bureau

? Delivered keynote at DigiMarCon Southeast Atlantic

? Celebrated Growing Social Now podcast's explosive growth

? Expanded AI marketing strategy consulting practice

? Captured moments across continents through my lens

? Witnessed my husband's graceful transition after 44 years in banking

Three posts that particularly resonated with our community:

"The Podcast Boom: Why Brands Can't Afford to Miss the Audio Revolution"

On why podcast listening grew 15% among women listeners

https://www.dhirubhai.net/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7183846973471379456/

"Celebrating International Podcast Day"

How Growing Social Now transformed from a show into a vibrant community

https://www.dhirubhai.net/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7246618470870564864/

"Cheers to New Adventures!"

Celebrating life transitions and new beginnings

Like the amaryllis that must first sit as a bulb before rising to bloom, true growth requires both patience and bold action. In 2025, we're focusing on expanding the intersection of AI and authentic storytelling, while continuing to grow our global community through speaking, podcasting, and strategic partnerships.

To my growing community of visionary leaders, podcast guests, and fellow innovators: thank you for proving that authentic connections are the foundation of lasting success. Together, we're creating something beautiful.

What I liked: direct links to top posts and the summary of accomplishments.

What I can improve: while I post a lot, about four times a week, my comments and reactions are low compared to other Rewinds. And, my follower account is steady, not in growth mode.

Reasons to Rewind LinkedIn

Why should you rewind? It’s not just about promoting your accomplishments—it’s about reflecting on how far you’ve come, celebrating the people who supported you along the way, and setting the stage for even bigger things in the year ahead.

Here’s how a Year-End Rewind can lift you (and your network) higher:

  1. Gain Perspective: When you look back at both wins and roadblocks, you see patterns, strengths, and areas to grow.
  2. Reinforce Relationships: Acknowledging mentors, colleagues, and friends who helped you reminds everyone of the bond you share.
  3. Spark Inspiration: Sharing your lessons learned—especially the stumbles—can encourage someone else to take their next brave step.
  4. Focus on the Future: Your Rewind forms a blueprint for what you want more (and less) of in 2025. It’s your personal roadmap for progress.

Should you share? That's up to you, but I would say, why not? If you do share your LinkedIn Rewind, leave a comment with a link to your post or your graphic so I can like and comment.

Wishing you a bright and fulfilling 2025! May your new year be full of discovery, meaningful connections, and yes—plenty of celebration along the way.

I liked the LinkedIn Rewind. It was a good reminder and interesting to see a consistent thread in my posts related to technology and innovation for marketers. It's good to know if you're on track with your personal brand message and how that comes through in posts. I've been posting more on behalf of Mesmerise (my FT job), and this showed me that I only posted 7 times from my account this year, which surprised me and showed me an opportunity. I decided to share since I like seeing these updates from others. Thanks for your insights and engagement this year, Barb! Appreciate you!

BARBARA ROZGONYI Reflecting on successes, learning from challenges, and sharing your story is incredibly valuable, especially when it doesn't come across as bragging. I appreciate how you emphasize categories like “2024 vibe” and “superpower,” as they focus on growth rather than just accomplishments.

LinkedIn Rewind is such a creative way to reflect on the year! ??? It’s not just about celebrating wins—it’s a chance to uncover patterns, highlight growth, and recognize the people who supported us along the way. The categories like 'superpower' and '2024 vibe' make it even more meaningful by connecting achievements to personal values and lessons. I love the idea of using the insights from a Rewind to shape future goals—it’s like creating a bridge from reflection to action.
