First off.
There are verbal tricks that tennis coaches can use to get their players in a certain frame of mindset.
As a matter of fact.
All coaches should be studying hypnosis and covert persuasion to help them teach the mental game better to their players.
Because.
One of the biggest problems that I see taking place in the game today is… coaches not being able to coach the mental game correctly.
Which is why I wrote a book on the topic.
I'll share that link with you later.
Right now.
I want to give you a few tips from the book.
By the way.
This is all about hypnotic language coaching patterns here.
Let me give you a few examples, so you can get some better coaching insight to what I am saying in this post.
You can say the following statements to them before practice.
Before you go out there today and have a great workout, focus on and then fill in your desired outcome for them.
Or.
I know you are going to have a great practice today, but, I want you to focus on and then filling the blank.
Another one you can use before their matches.
Before you go out there and crush them, try to zone in on, and you guessed it, filling the blank.
When you do this covertly and with a strong voice inflection and tonality.
You will get them in a certain frame of mind, and then you can get them to focus on your desired outcome for them.
But.
The key is mastering how to say it to them in a hypnotic way!

Words are powerful and as coaches, we need to master how to use them.
You should practice saying them in front of a mirror and pay close attention to your facial expressions and your body language.
Actually.
Here is a good way to practice.
Start using them on your kids and your spouse daily.
Like any other skill.
The more you use it, the better you will get at using it with daily practice!
And.
The better, you will be able to teach the mental game to your players.
Okay.
If you are a coach.
I hope this makes sense to you.
One more thing.
Please leave your thoughts on this subject in the comment section below.
Because.
I would love to hear what they are.
