How Well Do You Receive Help?

When you read success stories, whether about music icons, film stars, political notables, you name it, there’s always the story behind the scenes where they received help from people who believed in them. Sometimes they were discovered by a teacher or coach. And sometimes they were good at asking for hel
Either way, they had to receive the help that was provided to them. And it helped them get to their larger presence in the world.
What about you? How well do you receive help? I ask, because far too many people deprive themselves of the gift of help fearful that they will appear weak, helpless, needy, or any other false belief that holds them hostage.
And then you produce an emotional blockade against others. There’s no one there to receive.
Instead, what I’m hoping you’ll take away from this article, is that when you receive help you allow someone to care for you, to care about your well-being, your development, your future.
And when you say “Thank you” you honor their desire to be generous. You give the gift back. Everyone benefits.
And, I’m wanting to receive your help!

5 年"How Well Do You Receive Help?" may go hand in hand with other Posts on LinkedIn on receiving compliments gracefully-If we step back from the question regarding Asking for Help, I guess I would ask "Why we would not ask for Help?"-If we are younger(and older )asking for help gives us the opportunity to hear another person's viewpoint (that we may not have thought about previously) and may allow us to get to know another person better-None of us have all the answers to the many questions in the workplace and in our personal Life-I ask too many questions :) and may appear somewhat foolish in asking some of those questions but....I have reached the point in my maturity that not asking a question will bug me later and I wonder why I did not ask the question-Usually when a question pops into our mind, We may not be the only one confused I have found too?
