How well do you know how your team learns?

How well do you know how your team learns?

When I was a badminton coach over a decade ago, I stumbled across a great tool to help me understand how the people I coached learned. This tool also helped me understand how I learnt.

The tool was VARK

VARK, stands for Visual, Aural, Read/Write and Kinesthetic.

I wont bias this article by advising my own and the people I coached learning styles, however I will say that not everyone is the same however, there were some strong preferences and when I focused my coaching using those preferences, I obtained better results. The other thing is that, I understood why I did well and didn't do so well in my education days and throughout my life learning(s). Also how I can best learn now!

The below is a brief summary of VARK learning styles/preferences, however, If you are empowered to help build learning teams I strongly encourage you to go to https://vark-learn.com/ and get a better understanding for your selves to see if it can help you and your team find the best ways to communicate in learning. Use the quick questionnaire that can help get you started. https://vark-learn.com/the-vark-questionnaire/
