Happy end of March! We can’t believe that Q1 is already coming to a close.

It’s been a busy quarter and a jam-packed month (And if you’re anything like us, the clocks changing threw us off too.)

With everything going on, we’ve curated a quick read that’s packed with insights and news.

SEE YOU NEVER, 5-DAY WORKWEEKS??

We’ve been trialling 9-day fortnights. And so far, so good!?


Here’s how we’re approaching it and how you can too:


1. Everyone takes the same days off — every other Friday off with no compressed hours.

2. We set up a cross-functional group to agree on success metrics.

3. Teams get to decide how best to adapt to their work.

4. We listen to our teammates and ask for feedback via pulse surveys.

5. We’re openly communicating our process with the rest of the team, rallying everyone to make it a success.

6. We started a 9-day-fortnight Slack channel where everyone shares what they’ve been up to.

7. At the end of our trial, we’re synthesising our key learnings, optimising the experience, and ideally making it a permanent part of our culture.
