How we inspire architects to explore

EeStairs set up the EeLab to encourage architects and designers to think fearlessly about stair innovations, and the use of revolutionary materials like laminated bamboo, curved glass layers and braided metal.

Our own designers experiment with these concepts to prove that extraordinary stair-forms are not just fantasies, but can actually be made and used.

And here are some examples from EeLab:

 This staircase shows just how beautiful a sliced structure can be through details such as the smooth dip in the risers, and the highly original separation of the glass balustrade from the inner and outer parts of the soffit.
