How we #HereTechnologies became a part of #Guinness World Record Hackathon!

The contest "Digital breakthrough" started on April 2019 . The main goal of the project is to find new personnel for the digital economy throughout Russia. 66 500 applications from all regions of Russia were submitted for the competition.

1-st stage was online testing of the contest was completed, in total 37 566 registered participants were allowed to test. 19 000 people confirmed their competence, passing 132577 tests. The qualifying stage was held in three areas: information technology, design, project management and business analysis. https://bit.ly/2HVvPZc

2-nd stage was he regional qualifying stages were held in 40 cities of Russia. Our #HEREtechnologies team took part in 11 cities with 30% of total citizen country population. We were there as experts on business ideas, Here Open Location Platform, speakers on presentation skills and geolocation services.

Final stage was in Kazan city. It was attended by more than 3,000 specialists in the field of programming, design and project management.

The hackathon in Kazan became the largest it event in the world and set a Guinness Book of records record!

As a result of the final hackathon, 20 teams became winners, they will share the prize Fund of 10 million rubles.

This historic moment was accompanied by the creation of new partnerships for us as a team with representatives of completely different spheres of science, business and government.

Many business acquaintances are already beginning to move into real partnerships.

Summarizing, it was a great honor to represent the company at such a major event of the country both for our team and for me personally.
