How we helped transform a local brewery with our customer flow plate!

In this week’s edition, we’re running through one of our case studies when we were asked to manufacture a Flow Plate for a local large scale brewery!

When we started the project, our customer was very specific with their requirements to be able to brew their product through various different ports!

The customer requested a twenty-three port flow plate on a Stainless Steel box section frame. They asked for all ports to be welded front to back, with welds removed and polished throughout.

Our skilled fabricator, Andy was able to successfully construct this piece! The project was finished to hygienic standards to avoid dead zones or a risk of product being build up inside the pipework.

Additionally, our customer specified their preference for wanting CSE manual Butterfly Valves, as they were conscious about keeping the project cost-effective whilst ensuring that the full unit was effective and efficient! Due to the CSE valves construction, making the complete unit was a quick turnaround.

The next stage of the project was to install the proximity switches, which we constructed using our swing bends and then finally, put into service.

Overall, the customer was very happy with the outcome of the flow plate!
