"How we are getting the best out of the impact of Covid 19?"
It was great to catch up with the very talented Ros Deegan - CEO of OMass Therapeutics where we discussed the impact of Covid and how she and her senior management team manage the areas of responsibility as an employer who really value their staff.
"We have always looked at hiring self-motivated people and supporting them in their deliverables, goals and personal objectives. Our team are responding well in these current circumstances but I am aware that we need to balance areas safely as we continue to operate. With only the lab staff working on the premises, we have adapted to shift work but we do need to consider:
- How do we take the best of this and make it part of OMass going forward?
- How do we continue and monitor this long term emotional rollercoaster? These swings and roundabouts are not helpful to a company but we do need to remain in touch and check in regularly.
We have adapted, made tweaks but we are aware that when the pressure increases so does anxiety so open communication and support is essential. "
