How we designed new Online Training Modules

At WILKINSON COUTTS, we’re proud of the new content and format of our online training courses. Our ASME L2 course is up and running, and the full API Course Selection will be ready very soon. Here’s how we did it:

Limits and Potential

We thought about the limitations of online training. Learning by yourself is not the same as being taught in the classroom. SO, we added more step-by-step instructions and changed test question formats where necessary. You may need to work through a bit more slowly, but it’s a more effective learning method.

Updates

We have updated our courses to match all the updated codes (2020 edition). This takes hundreds of hours of identifying new content and cross-referencing; and now, it’s all nearly done. We don’t want you sitting an API exam having learned from obsolete code editions and test questions.

New Teaching method

We developed a new way to teach the FFP assessment. This is always a tricky one but we believe our new method will reduce peoples’ worries about the calculations. We lead you through wall thinning assessments step-by-step, just as you would perform them on a real job.

A little extra Help

Watch out for our website news and LinkedIn posts giving tips. These are all based on real experiences we have with our training delegates. Use them to become a more effective learner!
