This is not a joke, but a real story of PR work we managed to pull in 2017. Happy to share with you the case study and a bit from behind the scenes below.

When trying to scale with a product in a new market you have to be creative. No PR company in the world is going to actually teach you what is great content for your audience and what is going to become viral. A few years back I had the privilege of coordinating an event that created a network effect which is worth to tell.
It was the end of 2017 and I already spent almost 2 years in the UK with my former startup Funzing. We were looking on how to create events which could create a social media effect and also generate call to action of transactions for our website of ticket purchases. The brainstorm of concepts was endless - talks about psychedelic drugs, immersive prison experiences in a bar, naked rollerblading, themed movie nights while eating what you watch and more. So far until then we have tried to create a 'selfie world championship' event which failed miserably. Our creative team had already noticed that wellbeing events are a big world-wide trend and that specifically Yoga with other elements could really be interesting for the crowds. The concept was something we have seen before in the US (looking online in other countries for stunts is always helpful) so it was pretty easy to replicate.
Luckily we had a great team that helped find the right people to pull this through while still respecting the principles of Yoga. So after several weeks of prep the event went live on the site and the rest was history. Once Business Insider picked it up the media couldn't get enough.

4 年Just the other day I saw a nice ad for Funzing on FB, offering several activities, that match exactly my interest, near my home, and with great eye catching descriptions. They are still great in content making!
