How Will We Change Healthcare?

How Will We Change Healthcare?

  • Most when advanced in the work chain tend to have more pressure on them. They are blind sided from higher up as the demand becomes greater. The human side begins to decrease and greed or satisfying the boss to get a higher pay is in the spot light.
  •  I have began to travel to different states to see if it is like this everywhere and in most cases it is. I will change the way things are done and in a productive way by getting out there with my staff training them as to how things are done and personally show them how things  may seem to overwhelm them but if we work as a team.. trust and believe it will work. Recently I have served on the LPN board to help change some of the criteria's for LPN classes and zero in on some of the things LPN's may be lacking once they graduate. I listen to what their weakness is then I show them how they can over come the fear and the lack of. Read first about how something is done or if your from the south like me, get someone to demonstrate it 1st  (people in the south learned kinetic first because it was against the law to know how to read). Therefore there is a weakness in  reading. I learn by all 3 ways because I can mimic it and not know why. I can read it still do not understand it. Now I have audio and the picture is painted.

To began changing healthcare we must first find it in our hearts to care about each other with sincerity and then educate, educate and continue to educate.

Lack of resources/tools to do the job, lack of personnel to cover the shifts, lack of compassion to ancillary staff and healthcare employees, employee burnout is at an all time high. Managerial in critical facilities have to cover two different facilities at the same time, which reduces their knowledge as to events that take place on each floor. Some managerisl staff members have the degree but nit enough experience to tackle the job descriptions. Just Saying ????

In regards to the expectations from higher ups the reality is revenue versus humanity. Healthcare has lost its ways profit keeps the doors open unfortunately. Hcaps drives status and reputation of the organization, but forgets the human condition of their employees second and patients first.
