Today we're going to be talking about 'Skills' and what's that like in the world of programming? Of course you can count the soft skills and the hard skills basically But this article won't be focusing on that just yet. We're going to focus on the Solid materials (Hard Skills) which basically coding/programming right? So as I asked before How we can measure someone's skills as a developer/programmer.
Let me tell you How!
Generally most of people in linkedin and in social media in general are lying about their resumes and experiences but you do know what does not lie ? Its you code. Yes, I do believe that codes assessments are the way to go if you wanna set a value for a developer's skills. You cannot lie on your code. Once the Reviewer can see the way you wrote your functions and How it all made sense in the end he/she will realize your Actual stake level. Either you're 1 or a 9/10. Most of the companies in the valley don't really care about your CV anymore they just wanna see your Github contributions and code and thus they can figure out How much of a solid programmer you really are. So As a software engineer you should always try to improve your coding skills eiter by competing in CP or just solving some leetcode problems cause in the end all of that matters are the few lines of code that you wrote.
