How We Achieved Record-Breaking Growth in 2020

2020 has tested our personal & collective mettle at BreezoMeter. However, as the great Albert Einstein said, “in the midst of every crisis, lies great opportunity.”

Despite the challenges, we’ve managed to turn 2020 into a record-breaking year of growth for our company!

Our success is down to the hard-working efforts of all our BreezoMeters and I couldn't be prouder. Here's how we did it (more detailed writeup here):

Responded Quickly to Sudden Market Uncertainty 

  • Like many others, we had to adapt our strategy early in the year to respond to the reality of COVID-19. We decided to refocus our efforts where we knew we could make the most difference: Healthcare.

Creatively Adjusted to a New Work from Home Reality

  • Prior to COVID-19, we were a very in-person & face to face company. We had to find creative ways to translate our usually working culture to a more distant & online one.

Held a COVID-19 Hackathon & Shared Our Knowledge

  • We held an internal hackathon to find ways we could help and respond to the global pandemic, held free webinars & partnered up with industry experts.

Prioritised & Highlighted Our Customers 

  • In times of crisis, it’s important to take stock & do everything you can to protect the important relationships you already have - so we made our existing partners a priority this year.

We Built Stronger Products 

  • Ensured we offered the highest real-time air quality resolution in the world (at 5 Meters/16.5 Feet) & provided real-time wildfire smoke reporting.

Communicated the Importance of Air Quality Accuracy

  • We made it a priority to ensure people were aware of the differences between air quality providers for health-based decision-making.
