HOW TO WALK TO THE MOON

I was born on the day when men first landed on the moon, in July '69.

After she sat on TV to watch Neil Armstrong take his first small steps for himself, but big steps for humanity, my mother went to give birth to me. I was born under good auspices.

As the old Soviet joke saying: "Ehehe, son! I expect you to do more. When I was your age, Gagarin flew into space!"

I have a challenge to write an article a day on linkedin for two weeks. I asked Subin to give me a theme for my article today and she tested my creativity with the theme in the title. I smiled, I had something to write.

I wrote it quickly in Romanian, so that the day does not pass without writing. :)

Last night I went to the Gala of the 25th anniversary of the romanian famous newspaper "Ziarul Financiar", to learn from business people how to really think big.

Top 10 award-winning Romanian companies, compared to the majority of the Romanian business environment, looking at the billions of euros in turnover, looked like giants who really went to the moon.

The last ZF award of the evening was dedicated to the new wave of business in Romania and was won by SIMTEL, along with two other brave companies.

I know Iulian, Radu and Sergiu, the founders of SIMTEL, since they were preparing to start their flight. Since then, for several years, I coached them, fascinated by their seriousness and total commitment to personal development both for them and for all the people in the company.

Each of them, as well as the most important people in the company, graduated our programm Big Life Project. Then, through our Executive BLP, I met and worked with most of the people in SIMTEL.

Tonight, when I saw Iulian Nedea on stage at the Marriott going to pick up the award from ZF, I had the clear feeling that he and the other daredevils of the new wave of Romanian business are the people from whom we should learn how to walk to the moon.
